Email link performance report question

I'm running the email link performance report to try to see which links in an email are more effective. But I can't figure out what the difference is between clicks and leads. I don't  see why those numbers would be different. For instance, someone has to be a lead in order for me to send the email to them, so why would I have 46 clicks but only 40 of them being leads? Does that mean that 6 of these were people clicking the link multiple times?

Multiple clicks by a lead is what is causing that.  You can confirm by creating a smart list using a Clicked Link in Email filter with a "Min. Number of Times - 2" constraint.
