Default condition for all campaigns

One of our teams will ALWAYS use a specific condition on all Marketo smart campaigns (the "member of program" condition). Is there a way to auto-populate or auto-include this condition in all new campaigns that are created?

You can create a cloneable campaign with reqd. filters and flow steps and have your team clone this smart campaign every time they wish to create a campaign. Defining a set of filters globally which can be included in all the SCs automatically is something which isn't possible in Marketo (at least yet).

For email flow steps in particular, you can (broadly) approximate this by:

(1) creating a Segmentation that segments on Member of Program
(2) adding a special Velocity token to all templates that throws an error if the person is in the wrong (i.e. Default) segment

When VTL throws an error, the email will soft bounce with no category and you can report on that.

For other flow steps there's no equivalent, though.

    Marketo does not provide the functionality to to auto-populate or auto-include a condition in the smart campaigns, however you can create Program Templates (based on program types) which include the mostly used filters and flow steps and You can clone these program templates to create any new request as per your requirements.
