Changing top level domain without breaking tracking?

We are changing our top level domain (info.myoldcompany.com -> info.mynewcompany.com) and I am wondering if it is possible to do this without erasing our users cookies. From what I have been reading, all of our users will have to re-introduce themselves by clicking an email or filling out a form. Is there a way around this?

Hi George,

Yes, it is possible to make this migration seamless, but you will need a developer with a real fluency in JavaScript, in-browser messaging concepts, and how Munchkin sessions work.

Ok, Great. Thanks Sanford.

Is there any documentation on how to do this?

Only in my head and my code.

Just for clarity sake, what you're doing is changing your domain - not TLD.  TLD is anything to the right of the dot.  For example, com, net, gov, etc.
