Doing some clean up and organizing in our instance. Does archiving folders improve system load times? Possibly because Marketo is not including those items for all searches.

Hi Kim,

Hard to say, but if it does not do any good, at least it will not harm

The difficulty on measuring this is that UI load times can be impacted by many things...

Hi Kim,

Your basic premise is correct. However, in order for the difference in processing speed to be noticeable, you would need to archive a large number of folders/programs. We're talking years of folders/programs.

And, as Grégoire mentioned, system times can be impacted by other factors as well. Also, as mentioned, it can't do any harm either. So, go ahead and archive those old folders.

Hi Kim, if you have too many old assets in your instance and want to clean-up, you should try our M-Hive solution - go.grazitti.com/M-Hive-Marketo-Asset-Backup.html

With this, you can easily take a back-up of your assets from your Marketo instance and then restore them in future as required.
