Any tips for success to pass the MCE Exam on your first attempt?

What are your tips for success to pass the MCE Exam on your first attempt?

All different types of tips are welcome:

- Topics that require more attention

- Managing time

- Dealing with stress

- Creating a study plan

- Tricky questions

Here are some areas to look at:

  1. Marketo has put together a list of things it covers, and offers a practice exam. You can find it here: http://pages2.marketo.com/MCE-exam-prep-tool-kit.html?utm_source=marketo&utm_medium=email&utm_campai...  The new practice exam is much better than the old one.
  2. Josh Hill has also created a post on this. You can find that here:  Preparing for the Marketo Certification ExamMarketing Rockstar Guides  ​Some of the things there are a little dated, but still useful.
  3. I would also check out the Marketo documentation: Welcome to Marketo Docs - Marketo Docs - Product Docs

    Thanks Josh, was just about to post that link.

    @Karina Guerra​ if you have been using the system for a year, you should be on your way. Just take the practice test and then study areas you didn't do so well on. If you have only been using it for 6 months, you can study a lot or just wait a few months.

    The exam is actually easy - 90 mins, 100 questions. The only catch is they often phrase the question to try to trick you. Just ask yourself what the docs and system really think about.

      Looks like you've already gotten a lot of great answers! Be sure to log into the Marketo University Learning Portal as well and check out the Training Catalog. If you're new to Marketo and haven't already taken "Basics 2: Foundation Training" it's recommended before taking the exam.
