Adding a constraint to a specific email in a stream.

Hello,

We are wanting to send a speicifc email in a stream that is set up to includes a variety of industry segments. We want the email to go out to to the entirety of the members in that steam, with the exception of one industry (basically we don't want one type of customer to recieve the email). Is there any way to tinker with the stream so that it excludes that industry only for this specific email?

Have you tried to push that set of people out to another stream so they don't get the email?

Run a smart campaign to find and remove from your stream and add them to another stream, member of engagement program is X and industry is X, Change Engagement Program Stream.

Or run a Smart List, member of engagement program is X and industry is X, run flow action, Change Engagement Program Stream.

That is a good idea, but we would want the group back in the original stream after that. This is only a one time deal. Is that possible to move them out, and then bring them back after?

sure,
just will have to make sure about what they have already recieved in that stream in the past. member of X, was delivered x etc.
Its not an ideal solution, just a workaround.

May need to rebuild your streams to accommodate such splits in future.
