We recently sent an email campaign; the main CTA was a click to a Marketo Landing Page.In the reporting I could see, of the people who were sent the email 30 people had visited the webpage ( activity: Visit Web Page recorded), but no email click was recorded, the open was recorded.I did ask Marketo Support about this, and they explained that these customers would have disabled email click tracking but accepted web tracking.Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any good articles on this topic?Also, is there anyway to work out what % of our customers have disabled email click tracking?( The Marketo Landing Page was not shared any other way and these clicks did follow the email send and open activity).Thank you

Hello,I'm seeing some unexpected results in my Marketo Smart Campaign flow. Here's how it's set up:Step 1: Send EmailChoice 1: IF condition is "X" then Send Email 1Choice 2: IF Random Sample is "50" then Send Email 2Default Choice: Send Email 3After running the campaign, the email send counts are:Email 1: 900 recordsEmail 2: 700 recordsEmail 3: 250 recordsI expected Email 2 and Email 3 to have roughly the same number of sends because I used a 50% random sample split. Can anyone explain why I'm seeing this uneven distribution between Email 2 and Email 3? 

Hi All,For any Goldcast users out there, has anyone successfully copied data from a Goldcast Event User Engagement Activity into a Marketo Lead field? Specifically, we are trying to copy the questions users ask during a webinar into a "Marketing Notes" field. Normally, I'd use a trigger token to achieve this, but Custom Activities (such as the Goldcast one) are not supported. Any ideas on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, We have an integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and are trying to synchronize a custom entity to Marketo. In Dynamics, we created the custom entity and its relationships with the contact object. In Marketo, we enabled the synchronization of the custom entity schema and the fields we want to display. We created a smart list using the relationship with the custom entity as a filter, and we can correctly see the persons who have a record of such entity. However, when we access the person details to view the values associated with the custom entity, we are unable to see anything. Everything else in the integration is working correctly. Does anyone have any ideas on how we can display the fields associated with the synchronized custom entity? We would greatly appreciate any insights or suggestions These are the references we have for the synchronization, and we have followed them step by step.https://nation.marketo.com/t5/product-discussions/ms-dynamics-cu

I'm curious what each of you are doing within your Marketo instance to protect it from bots and spam form fill outs. Or perhaps it's something you're doing on the LP side of things.    I know of the honey pot method and implementing recaptcha (which is a pain btw) - but has this actually worked for any of you? I need to find a good solution.   Examples please! I know I'm not the only that has been faced with this.

I'm not sure I've correctly labeled this as a form pre-fill. My goal is to shorten my forms to increase landing page conversion. For example, I'm creating two landing pages: one for a campaign directed at small businesses (less than 10 locations) and mid-sized chains (more than 10 locations). Each page will have its own form. I want to have the fields for number of locations hidden, but still filled out on the backend. I know which number to select based on which landing page/form they've accessed. Is this possible?

Hi,I have defined a smartlist with Email Invalid =  true, but some of the email addresses are not showing up in the list though email invalid is true in Marketo. Could anyone tell me the possible reason. Same is the case with system defined smartlistThanks,Babu

Hello! I'm looking for some help with an going issue my team is having. We've created a program to help concatenate lead history with custom IDs from vendors being sent via API. Every time a vendor sends an ID the field is updated with the date and new vendor ID.I have noticed Marketo (or SFDC) is failing to update certain leads and its' only the ones who are existing leads. In the Activity Log once a lead's action is 'Sync Person Updated to SFDC' it doesn't actually update the field.The field that has been created works just fine, because it's only a handful of leads and only happens to existing leads, but after that action happens the field doesn't update. 

Hi everyone,I’ve noticed an issue when using Email Insights. Regardless of which workspace I select (as shown in the image below— items 1, 2, and 3), the data displayed in the metrics section (highlighted as item 4) does not change.In this specific case, the client would like to view the combined data for all workspaces in Email Insights. Is it possible to achieve this? Or is there a specific configuration required to display aggregated data across multiple workspaces?  

Hi, what is the most effective way to parse custom parameters from a URL into custom fields in Marketo? preferably from within Marketo 

A client has a handful of different countries using the same Social Media Launchpoint integration. For Linkedin specifically, field mapping linkedin custom fields to Marketo fields isn't a straight forward process.Fields have to be mapped via the Marketo UI (Admin>>launchpoints>>linkedin lead ads service...) but as you can see from the image below, the marketing consent fields are impossible to differentiate across different countries, and you cannot change the name of the field in Linkedin. Is there a way to effectively identify a  Marketing Consent field Linkedin from one workspace and Marketing Consent field in another workspace in Linkedin when end users of both forms see the same legal verbiage?

I am building a nurture campaign and in the email we have a link that is using a token to schedule a meeting.{{lead.Salesloft Meeting Link:default=https://mydefaultlink}}But this does not register as a clicked link when clicked. Every other link in the email works as intended.

Hi All,   My client is new to the Marketo instance who wants to set up Email domains within Marketo for Email deliverability. I have gone through the the available Marketo documentations for set up but couldn't get clear understanding of it. The document states to insert CNAME,SPF,MX records for this set up. Who will do this ?   Can someone please provide step by step set up guidelines for Email domain/IP set up ? Is this configuration needs to be done by Marketo support ? or We only need to configure it within instance ? Hi, we're running a data fix on the "Lead score" field in SF (API Name: mkto71_Lead_Score__c).It looks like the data is not reflected back in Marketo, so we have gap between the two systems. After few minutes Marketo is overriding the data in SF.Do you know what could be the reason for that? we don't have block updates on this field on the Marketo side, or any other smart campaigns running on it. Thanks Itay

We currently have a lead scoring for our leads and contacts (demographic score+ behaviour scores), and we would like to introduce multi-product scoring in Marketo ; what will be the best approach to do so? The extra products cannot be bought unless the main one was purchased first.
