Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi there, I'd like to know if its possible to stagger the number of exhausted leads that are sent new email content.  I have a program with 9 different streams (A - I). Everyone begins in stream A, and based on their engagement and info we know abut this person, they move into one of the steams B - I once they have come to the end of the content in stream A. When we add new content to Stream A, all exhausted leads receive this new content. However, we now have 30k+ exhausted leads and, due to issues with open rates, would like to stop Marketo from sending all 30k emails in one hit when we add new content. But rather stagger the sends over a period of time. Is there a solution to this?  

Hello,we have an issue with link tracking in Marketo when the URL is a token. I have an odd thing happening in my Marketo instance (synced with Dynamics 365). Some of my contacts are showing their account field data, while others are not. All of these contacts are associated with accounts in Dynamics and all of the accounts and contacts have been synced to Marketo, there's just some that seem to have become 'detached' from their account. I need to know if this is expected behavior and why it is happening. Or if not, I will log a case with support. Here is an example of a contact that is correct and DOES show account data in the 'Company Info' tab:Here is an example that DOES NOT show the company info:Both of these contacts are definitely associated to accounts in Dynamics but for some reason the company info is missing on some records. Can anyone explain this behavior? Hi , Can anyone please help me by saying how to pull a report on landing pages to see the metrics visits and engaged by utms medium in marketo engage? Thanks !

We use a phone field to input phone number for our forms which has a SFDC sync, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to validate the data. We've noticed people being able to put in 1 in the phone number or 123. Just looking to not allow people to put less than 8 numbers in the phone field (but could be more than 8), and only numbers. Is there a way to do this without Javascript? I've seen the instructions on masking but this seems to be only if you want it to be exact 8 not 8 or more.

I am having an issue with iOS rendering in Email on Acid. My text is overlapping. What is weird is that the same text blocks, with smaller text, are not having this issue. Anyone else ever have this, and if so how did you fix it? 

Using a Google Doc to document internal processes (or external product docs, if you’re really daring) has the big plus of familiarity.   Most everything else, IMO, is a minus  — which is why docs-focused platforms exist! But one minus you can at least work around is that images embedded in a Doc won’t auto-update, even if they were loaded from a remote URL.   That’s right, all 6 options here for Insert » Image result in a local copy of the image:   Even the promising By URL doesn’t work like an HTML <img src> where updates to the remote file are picked up on reload. Instead, it just copies the file into the document that one time. To pick up changes, you need to delete the image and Insert again.   But there’s a better way via a bit of Apps (Java)Script.   Here’s the key to making the code work. If a lead receives an operational email today, would that prevent them from later receiving a non-operational email the same day? Communication limits state that only 1 email can be sent a day. I understand that operational emails bypass the communication limit, but what about counting against it?

Hi, I have a requirement for a Marketo form where the form fields should be visible based on segments.There are three segments (eg. seg1, seg2 and seg 3) and three form fields. Field1 should be visible to a set of people belonging to seg1 and so on. Can we implement this?  

We are working with multiple content syndication vendors who will be sending us leads via web api. I wanted to understand what would be the best way to capture these leads? I am doing a combination of 'Person is created' with the source to track new leads. My concern is if this will capture any existing leads that can come via the content syndication route? Hi everyone,  We're looking into implementing BIMI, but there are a few questions and concerns regarding the process. I'd love to hear your thoughts or experiences.  1. Our IT team mentioned that either SPF or DKIM needs to align with the domain in the "From" header for BIMI to work, especially with Gmail enforcing this for bulk senders. My understanding is that DMARC alignment could be a requirement too. Has anyone dealt with this?  2. There's some concern about using a branded domain as primary domain, specifically around brand reputation and complexity. From what I've read, it's generally not recommended. Thoughts? Can anyone provide additional information? 3. From what I've gathered, Marketo doesn't support BIMI out of the box, but it's possible to configure (with an additional cost). Hi,I noticed Marketo has GET/POST endpoint to get access token, but both endpoints  accepting query parameters only, Is there any reason?<URL>/identity/oauth/token?client_id=<Client Id>&client_secret=<Client Secret>&grant_type=client_credentials clientid and secret are exposed to internet when pass them as query parameters, is there any better approach to prevent from exposing clientid and secret? Thanks,Babu

The hard part of email design is cross-client compatibility. Enhanced effects work in some web and mobile clients, but you need graceful degradation to HTML 3.2-era stuff, gotta have VML for Outlook desktop, etc.   Identifying email clients is easy-ish after a person opens an email, but what about before?   Wouldn’t it be nice to have some idea of how many people will be reading your emails in at least one Gmail client — in addition to those literally @gmail.com? Hi guys,  We have been leveraging the LinkedIn Match Audiences and LinkedIn Lead Gen integrations, which have significantly improved our marketing strategies. However, we have encountered a challenge that we're hoping someone in this amazing community can help us address. Our issue revolves around generating/populating specific fields values for known leads in our Marketo database through either the native LinkedIn-Marketo integration or a third-party one. We are interested in capturing fields related to the 'Marketo Social LinkedIn Profile URL' or any other LinkedIn-related fields that would enhance our personalized and targeted marketing efforts. Is it possible to achieve this through the native integration? We are also open to alternative solutions, whether it be through Marketo, LinkedIn, or a third-party tool. Your suggestions and insights into how we might be able to achieve this are highly appreciated.

Just wanted to check to see if I am setting this up right. I read a few things that made it seem like I did this correctly, but I am still unsure.  I am setting up new lifecycle segments and for our "Growth" segment, they need to have gone "live" in the last 90 days. Since the "Readiness" stage is based off of them going "live" within 45 days, the growth segment has to be set up between 45 days-90 days of going live.  Is using the in past before operator right for this? It doesn't seem to make sense to me!

We're using an engagement program for a weekly newsletter. Every week, a new email is dropped in the stream, activated, and scheduled to deactivate the date after the intended send. We would like to send this by recipient's time zone for our Americas audience.  The email cadence is every Tuesday at 11 AM recipient time zone. However, we can't drop the email and activate until earliest 6 PM on Monday - which is within the 25 hours recommended. Our question is - does it matter that we're activating the content within the 25 hours? Since this is only for our Americas region, technically that should be enough time. That 25 hours is really only important for the first cast right? If we don't touch the cadence anymore and just drop, activate, and deactivate email, we should be good? If anyone can pleas confirm, that would be greatly appreciated. Hi! Has anyone used the Facebook LEadGen out of the box marketo integration? I am finding that not all records are coming through to marketo. And when records to enter marketo, any field vlaue with spaces is coming back with underscores. Has any one dealt with, is there a solve out there? 

Hello, My team and I want to be notified when there is an alert that there has been a Report Subscription Failure.  When I try to subscribe to this type of notification only, it is not an option in the drop down of subscription values.  Are report subscription failures classified as under a specific notification type?  Can I subscribe to just Report Subscription Failure alerts? 

Hi, I'd like to ask about scenario design for engagement programs. Question 1: Ideally, I would like to transition leads from Cold → Warm → Hot, but if there is not enough content for the Cold stage, is it appropriate to start sending emails to leads in the Warm stage instead? (It seems that creating Cold content will take quite a while.) Question 2: If there are multiple solutions, should separate engagement programs be created? Additionally, when targeting different industries or job roles, is it better to divide the engagement programs by target group, or should I separate the streams within a single engagement program? What would be the most appropriate design? Thanks.

Hello Nation, We recently created a new lead partition within our default workspace and are in the process of uploading records to this partition. However, during the list import process, we noticed that the option to select the target lead partition is not visible. For now, as a workaround, we are manually moving the leads to the correct partition using a Smart Campaign. While this works, we wanted to check if there is a specific setting we may have missed during the setup that would enable the partition selection during list import. Alternatively, is there a more efficient way or workaround to handle this situation?

I have a need to add a custom header — e.g. `X-My-Custom-Header: my-header-value` — to the POST request sent by a marketo embed on a third-party website.  The header is needed by a security layer that we have protecting the subdomain used by our marketo instance. Has anyone ever tried something like this?  Any creative javascript solution for intercepting/injecting the header into the POST request?

Hi everyone,We're encountering some inconsistent issues with Marketo recaptcha. We're getting the error{message: "Captcha field missing in form", error: true, errorCode: "400"}on form submissions for certain pages, while others work fine. For example, filling out this form in Chrome (assuming you've accepted all cookies) will generate the error: https://www.datadoghq.com/dg/apm/app-suite-demo-b/#request-a-demo  but it seems to work in Firefox.And this page seems to work on both browsers for some users, but not others https://www.datadoghq.com/dg/monitor/frontend-demo-dem/b/#request-a-demo  Could anyone provide some insight on how to debug this? Hi,  My database has records that share an ID in common in a Person Field.For example,the Person field 'Grocery Store ID' has a value of 123 on Sam's Person record.the Person field 'Grocery Store ID' has a value of 123 on Bill's Person record.There is also a Person field on both records called "# of Oranges Sold". Is there a way to trigger an email to send (like Send an Alert) to someone based on a Data Value Change? Using the example,if Sam's field value in "# of Oranges Sold" changes to '10', an email would be triggered to send to Bill.The data value change would trigger the flow.An email would be sent.Marketo would recognize the linked Store ID between the 2 person records, and use it to send the email out. Essentially, anyone that shares Sam's Store ID in common, would get an email.
