Adobe Marketo Engage

I have a series of 6 emails that need to be sent out (one per week) that will go to a very large list, and we will need to have resends to unopened emails. Would the best practice for this to be set up a nurture program or just a basic email program? 

We have a situation, due to duplicates and merging and such, where we have a record in Marketo that is associated with a record in SFDC, but that SFDC record has "deleted in Marketo" as true, meaning that it no longer syncs back to Marketo. As a result, we need to sync those Marketo records with different SFDC records (i.e., its duplicate). Is it possible to somehow run batches to make those changes, or is that something that Marketo can do on the backend if we provide a list?

I am trying to figure out if there's an easy way to get inbox placement tool set up for every send in Marketo without having to make a seed list every time. What is the best way to use this tool?

Looking for anyone who uses Captello and has integrated it with their Marketo instance.  Newbie here, and I do not see any documentation on how to build out the trigger campaign to capture submissions.  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have an email using dynamic content for a banner image.  Of course the dynamic images are based on a segment.  The segment has about 80 values, based on a field that gets populated when users fill in a form on the website.  When we created the email all segment values were tested and the correct images were populating.  We're seeing instances of users receiving the default image, or worse, the wrong image.  When I look at our segmentation I see several segments show zero members, but when I recreate the rules with a smartlist I see many people in the list.  Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Am I missing something basic about the way segments work?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello! I built email send smart campaigns to then pull into my nurture streams. When I select Program, my programs are not showing as an option in the drop down. I have enured that "Member of Engagement Program" is in the smart campaigns. What else could it be? TIA

I am attempting to automate an email send for users who have updated their email address.  These email addresses come from a lead list upload, so the "data value change" is not always obvious. The system they are coming from also capitalizes all records, so when they are updated into marketo (when a prior record existed) it shows that there was a data value change even though the actual email did not change. ex: Original: email@email.comChange Data Value from email@email.com to EMAIL@EMAIL.COM Does anyone know how i might be able to manage this? I want to be able to identify when a unique email address was updated into a lead record.  

Our company's industry is aligned to software and currently our communication limits is once per day and 2 per 7 day rolling period. We are considering making changes to our communication limits, but curious as to what other's have as their communication limits and any testing you did to come to the decision of what your comm limits should be. Hi everyone,I uploaded an external list into my Marketo instance (one that we've never used before) and found that many of the contacts on said list had emailing suspended due to "hard bounce." How is this possible when they're brand new and I've not yet sent them a single email?

Hi everyone,I'm setting up fields to capture UTM parameters and sync to SFDC, much like this post. My SFDC admin just created the fields in our SF instance, and created them as text fields with a max of 255 characters which is how our parent company has them set up on their SF. The fields appearing successfully in Marketo as text fields - however, this post from 2014 recommends that these be set up as string instead of text. Which is the correct field type, string or text? Can I change the Marketo field type to string without changing the SFDC field type?

I have an event that people can register for, but only a number of people can register for each session. Once a session becomes full, I'd like to update the selector... does it make sense to just remove it? My concern with deleting it was there would be a jump from session 5 to session 7, for example. Or, am I able to keep it but make it not selectable?For now, I changed the wording... but technically people can still select it and submit.And, what is best practice?
