Adobe Marketo Engage

I'm hoping someone can help me change the size of the font in an embedded Marketo form. I can't figure out the specific syntax to grab the button and style it.  The form exists on this page: https://www.insurate.com/agent-qs I'd like to increase the size of the font, increase the size of the button and remove the line around the button. I've included the code below. Aside from the challenge here, I'm just at such a loss as to why this is so impossible to do. Hi    Does anyone have experience pushing web form submissions from Drupal to Marketo?   We are currently running Drupal 9.  I've installed all the recommended modules   I've also linked Drupal to Marketo and was able to retrieve the fields.      I've created the webform but the data from the webform submission isn't going across into Marketo despite me syncing the fields.    Any help would be greatly appreciated.   Thanks      

 Hi all, I am looking for the best way to report on UTMs in marketo. We have utm fields created (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, etc.). Is there a best practice on reporting on UTMs in marketo that includes their associated program? Below, I have included a image of an old, exported report that reads the program, associated utm values, and their program status'. The person who created this left before I joined and unfortunately did not teach anyone how to do this. Does anyone have ideas on how to execute a similar report?   

I need to update a custom object field type from integer to string. Can I edit custom object fields once they are approved? After reviewing Marketo Docs, I know link and dedupe fields cannot be edited, but this field is neither. I also deleted the integer field, created new field as string, and tried to approve custom object, but got a system error. Therefore I discarded the custom object draft.

Hello everyone,  We are in the process of integrating Drift live chat to our Marketo instance, but we're struggling getting direction on how we should be using the custom activities we created in Marketo in relation to the data coming from Drift and how that info should be used in our smart campaigns to trigger other activities.  We went through and created the "New Meeting Activity" and "New Conversation Activity" in Marketo, and we've mapped those entities to the fields in Drift. We're to the point of leads who for example book a meeting with one of our reps while they are offline are synced to our Drift campaign, but they are not triggering our smart campaigns that look for the specific "Drift Lead Stage" being sent over.  If anyone has any insights into how they set up their smart campaigns in Marketo in relation to info coming from Drift, we'd much appreciate it! Hi Everyone, we set up linkedin form on our marketo instance using the steps here: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/demand-generation/social/social-functions/set-up-linkedin-lead-gen-forms.html?lang=en#:~:text=Go%20to%20LaunchPoint%2C%20click%20on,to%20use%20for%20the%20integration.   However, we ran into a problem. Whenever we use the trigger "fills out linkedin form", the form that we want to track does not appear. A test lead also filled out the form in linkedin but it still didnt sync with Marketo. Are we missing something here? Thanks 🙂

We have a form that's embedded on a landing page. When someone fills out the form it redirects to a thank you page that says: "thank you for registering. we sent a pass to your email {{lead. email address}}". However, lately we encountered a problem where  a lead fills out the form but the email add on the thank you page is different from the one that was used in form.  For example, i filled out the form and i used abc@xyz.com on the form's email field. After submitting the form I get redirected to the thank you page but the email token shows a different email "thank you for registering. we sent a pass to your email "def@xyz.com". I've already disabled munchkin tracking codes but the problem still persists. Has anyone encountered the same problem? Thanks!

hi all, hope you're well,   we're having ongoing issues with our footers, which keep reoccurring. We get our templates all correct (diff footer/templates for marketing & transactional emails) these are built up of 3 or 4 snippets. All will be well when im building new emails for a while...but it only takes a month or so and i'm seeing duplicated copyright text, or no address on emails.As a team we're sick of it, we've had an implementor agency previously try and help us with it, buthave since come away from them because of failures in fixing things such as this.   thanks in advance, Mike

I don't understand the use case for "Skip New Leads and Updates" during a list import.  Why would you want to import a list that skipped new leads and skipped any updates on current leads... what would you be importing at the end of the day?What is the purpose of importing with this option?Instead, I wish there was a simple way to import a static list that did not sync to my CRM (Salesforce) that I could use for one time mailings without affecting my SFDC data.

  I have a large list of collateral items that are on our website that I need to have "always-on" (active, Triggered). I am going through the list one by one deactivating then reactivating so that I know for certain none of them have been overlooked. My question is: is there a way to keep these campaigns in one location to mass/batch deactivate/reactivate? I am aware of Campaign Inspector listing active or inactive campaigns (the instance is old and has a lot) but my goal is to have lists of the triggered campaigns by themselves to check if active/inactive. I inherited a Marketo instance and found out that they don't sync two thirds of our SFDC leads/contact to Marketo. Now, I'd love to sync all of it, but it will be too much of a cost.   Other than the usual exclusions (e.g. remove duplicates; don't sync if no email address; remove if hard bounced), has anyone got ideas on how we can restrict data flowing into Marketo sensibly? Maybe we can look at leads that got created before 2015 etc.   Would love to hear what others may have done.

Hello all,I am creating a nurture engagement program where the main point of difference is country of citizenship. There are points throughout the year where people from certain countries of citizenship must be paused from receiving content whereas others can continue to receive content.  I am after advice regarding best practice for this set-up, namely; - Is it best to set-up two campaigns allowing only people from certain countries to each based on needs. Or - Can I create one campaign and allow recipients from all countries into the flow and then pause recipients from certain countries from receiving content for a specified period of time by using a smart campaign? If this is the case, what would be best practice to; - Pause certain people from the campaign while others remain receiving content per usual. - What would be the process to 'un-pause' these people at a certain point in time and have them receiving the nurture emails in the same point in the flow as they were in prio

Hello Community!   I'm working with one of our Program Managers to send out a multi-email campaign that has testing on every email going out (either subject line or whole email). The first two emails have gone out (one last week, one today) and when I run the report to see the two emails (and determine the winner), I only see that Version B has gone out to the Random Sample but no Default option (Version A):   Here's how I set up the Flow Step in the campaign (I do this regularly for multi-email campaigns and have done nothing different!), and I can't figure out why only the Random Sample sent out but not the Default:   This is a new campaign in a new workspace but the leads it's going to were all uploaded to the related partition, so I don't think it's that. This is the first time I've had an issue using Random Sample so I'm at a loss as to what the issue is but I'm not able to provide testing results to my PM because the test hasn't worked as intended!   At wors

The problem is people may assume it does more than it promises to.   What it does The code above takes advantage of a quirk — not a feature per se— in the Forms 2.0 JS library to ensure that the Munchkin cookie value is not included in the form post. (The cookie is called _mkto_trk, while the corresponding form field is _mkt_trk without the o.) By omitting the cookie, you don’t associate the current Munchkin web analytics session with the Email Address on the form. I have used the Microsoft Outlook save the date file, but my organisation only has us set up with Gmail so it would be great to be including save the date links that are compatible with Gmail.

I need to change the values of the country field for all contacts/leads in Marketo, is there a quick way to bulk update these without having to create a separate 'change data value' option for every single country?

Hi, I am creating a A/B test in my program. Just wanted to know about the audience selection. If I am selecting 20% audience on the slider, how this audience selection is going to work within Marketo. 1. Is it like Marketo will send one email version to 10% audience and another version to other 10%? 2. Or the selection within 20% is random? 3. Or is there any way via smart list we can specify this selection criteria?   Thanks!

Hi - I would like to know the best way to track in the Marketo program which persons have been assigned for follow-up by Sales in SFDC for multiple program types. The issue is the program success status isn't always an indicator of a person being added to SFDC for follow-up.   Example - if a person from a target account registers for a webinar, we will still add them to SFDC for follow-up, but if someone outside our customer profile attends, we will keep them in Marketo only.    I'm considering creating a Marketo program and SFDC campaign status that will indicate if a member has been assigned, so we can have a clear view and report on this metric.    Has anyone else ever done something similar?

Doesn't anyone know how to catch marketo submission errors using the JavaScript API, when `save2` does not POST?We are submitting our Marketo forms using the JS API, and are having issues with payload not actually being delivered to Marketo. I've found that the `MktoForms2` object is loading correctly, but in some instances in our production environment, the `submit()` and `onSuccess()` methods are not executing. I've tentatively arrived at the conclusion that there is some kind of error. I can tell the difference because I'm not seeing a POST call to `index.php/leadCapture/save2` in Network. So I want to know why this payload doesn't being delivered!What's worse is this issue only appears to be happening in our production environment, and not in out staging or dev. Hi All,    We have a problem with webinar registrations. We use Zoom and the tests we do before each session flow through all the steps as they should. The problem I'm facing is that for any prospect related webinar, we have 0 registrations. We even repurposed some webinars we did in the past that received a good number of registrations when we were on Hubspot, just as a test. The results were still negative.  Our customer facing webinars do as expected.  Our consultant couldn't find anything wrong with the program setup or integration as well.  Has anyone had this problem in the past? Or does anyone have any suggestions on what I should test or look at?  Thanks!
