What is the best program to make a template in for design and upload it into my marketo account? Sending out an email newsletter and would like to import my own design.

I tried to install Marketo Sales Insight to our SFDC instance, but got error message on the page layout. Does anyone have any solutions? I followed the instruction to download from the SFDC AppExchange. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/marketo-sales-insight/msi-for-salesforce/installation/install-marketo-sales-insight-package-in-salesforce-appexchange.html?lang=en Then, I configured the SFDC using this instruction. https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/marketo/using/product-docs/marketo-sales-insight/msi-for-salesforce/configuration/configure-marketo-sales-insight-in-salesforce-enterprise-unlimited.html?lang=en   However, I got error message on the lead page layout. Does anyone know what I missed? Thank you!

Hi all, wondering if anyone has seen this before / has insight / knows a fix:   A client of ours identified an issue last week in which, when they open a Marketo email in a new Outlook window, the links no longer work. The links work fine in the standard "preview" window.   We are not able to recreate it, so we suspect it may have something to do with their internal email security settings, or similar. I have never personally seen this before so any feedback would be appreciated!

Hello!I'm 99% sure it's not possible - but I was curious if within the Marketo UI there was ANY way to view a data value change to a custom object field?A lot of our campaigns run off these changes and I'm hoping there's a workaround, so I don't have to bother our data team with validating lists 🙂

Hello friendly people,   I have a link ID on my link on a landing page, but in the details of the "Clicked Link on Webpage" activity, a different ID shows: <a href="marketo-demo.example.com/rs/ABC-ABD-ABE/images/mfsandbox.pdf" target="_blank" id="PDF">Click here to PDF</a> Link ID works fine on emails with the clicked link activity, but not on LPs. Am I missing something?

We're trying to build an engagement program and we have 3 variables. We want to cater to the audiences based on persona as well as industry, as well as have it based on Awareness, Consideration, Evaluation. What's the best way to achieve this?  We have segmentations setup for personas and the industry, but trying to understand if we should be splitting the setup into 3 separate engagement programs and how to best organize it. We discovered that there is no way to hide a field unless it is not in use.  We have hundreds of campaigns that use certain segmentation fields that we need to get rid of.  Is there anything out there that can automate the process, or do we need to clean these out manually one by one so that the field can no longer be used?  Any help would be appreciated.

We have an agency managing our Google Adword account. We don't have admin access to the account - I assume because it'd give us access to other client accounts etc. What are our options for getting Marketo lists into the Adwords account? All I can think of is: Have agency add me as admin to the Adword account. Don't see this happening. Create a new Adwords account that we administer, and add agency as an admin. Assume agency will have some issues with this approach as well. ??

Hello,   We are looking to generate a random ID value when a Marketo form is submitted. We would make it a hidden form field that we'd block from being overwritten if there is an existing value. Has anyone done this and if so how?   Thanks, Michelle

hi, we have links on our website that don't have a href. For example the download button on https://www.barco.com/eu-en/support/software/r33050093 We're trying to capture clicks on that button/link in Marketo, but this doesn't show up in the Activity Log as  'Clicked Link on Webpage'.Any idea how to track these?   Thank you

I am currently facing an issue with an email template design for all mac recipients who are receiving emails in their outlook app.   Issue Statement: The email template has modules with 2 columns. One for image and the other for copy(text). For all PC users and mac users (outlook browser – mail.outlook.com), the email design looks good.   Whereas for mac users with outlook app, here are the 2 issues we are seeing:   The images are showing on the left instead of right (which is how it should display)   The text copy are all left aligned (text wrapped below the image) and are showing at below the image for each module.   Here is a screenshot:       These 2 issues are being displayed only for modules which have image. Hi All, I have a sluggish instance. The initial checks basically showed that campaigns were processing through backlogs normally. Being an online platform, different queues have different priority levels and all of those seemed to be moving normally. There are no unnecessary trigger campaigns, no complex smart lists, or anything like which can be responsible for the slow performance.  We are in discussion with the support team on this and they are looking into this issue. In the meantime, I am hoping to get some ideas/thoughts/solutions from community experts to resolve this issue.   TIA    

Email looks fine on Gmail, examaple:   But is completely broken in Outlook, example:   From searching around, I see that this is a common issue with Outlook but I dont know how to fix it. Hi All,   Here is the scenario: In Drift, we have 83,690 contacts, but 76,452 are identified as having a Marketo cookie, and their email being known. Changing filters to known name reduces this pool to 22,481 contacts. This, however, is the number of known contacts we have in Drift. We’re looking to identify the unknown site visitors in Drift using Marketo cookies. Drift populates the names or email addresses of cookied visitors, and if they are not known they will just be shown as “Site Visitor” instead. Since the number of known contacts in Drift is less than a fourth of our total known contacts in Marketo (over 400k), we’re speculating that there are a great number of site visitors who should be getting identified by their Marketo cookie through the Drift <-> Marketo integration but are not.   Is this a Marketo issue or Drift issue? How drift is supposed to work? How Drift gets data from Marketo?   TIA

A little while ago I added the SSL certificate to our LPs by adding the following meta tag to the <head> of our LP templates (see this post) :     <meta http-equiv="Content-Security-Policy" content="upgrade-insecure-requests" />       However I noticed, that whenever include a calender file in our E-Mails it redirects to an unsecured page/download link with the .ics file.Shouldn't my domain have SSL, since when any "ordinary" LP is opened, it is shown as secure? What am I missing here?   Thanks in advance for any advice. 

Hi,   We are an events platform company that is building integration with Marketo.  As a part of the integration, we would like users to select which "Program Member Status" should be updated for a lead at different trigger points available in our system (e.g. Registers for the event, Attends the event, etc.)   We already know the Program name and ID for which the member status should be updated for. We would like to fetch ALL available statuses for a program (or channel), so that user can select that in our platform UI while setting up the integration.   Can someone help us with which API can provide a list of all statuses available for that Program?

Hello,   I had a question about the SFDC and Marketo sync and how it handles duplicates. What would happen if person A is created in Marketo and is never synced with SFDC. Some time later,  person A is created in SFDC as the result of an import and is included in the normal SFDC to marketo sync. Would there be a match found between the two person A records? In this scenario they would be matching on email address.

Is it right to say that we would need to add the code to each template?  Is there any doc that we can refer to on how to add Adobe Analytics tracking code in the Marketo LP template? And where would be the right place to add that code? It is a one-line script code. Hello,   Our marketing team has been noticing during the QA process yesterday and today that when we click on the links in an email in preview mode in Marketo, we get the following error:   404 Not FoundThe redirect url is empty   And the URL that throws the error looks like this:  http://emailtracking.premiummemberservices.com/dc/$mktEncrypt.encrypt($mkturl6)/MzkyLVdRUS02MjAAAAGG-rVN1pYeetrQ3EsSX_TJkoHaQo5r6lBYpltwAPWeyTHMQvJW53aJUcwdsUIg6jr4VPnJ5N4= The error is ONLY appearing when viewing the email and clicking on the links in preview mode, not in test emails sent to our team:     What's strange is the $mktEncrypt.encrypt($mkturl6)....Any idea why this is not encrypting correctly?   Thank you, LK
