Adobe Marketo Engage

Hello- We are looking to use LinkedIn Lead Gen forms in Marketo and through all the testing have not been able to pass the utm parameters to Marketo, which in turn needs to pass it to Salesforce. Is there a way that the Lead Gen form can capture and pass that information to Marketo?

I am creating a Velocity Script for an email and would like to only show the script to users who have the custom objects in the script available. I am new to scripting but is there an if/then statement that can be used to say "if this custom object doesn't exist for a user, do not show the script"? Thank you!

Hi all - I'm trying to set up a triggered campaign that will fire when leads engage with a piece of ungated content but am getting stuck on the trigger. I came across Sandford's solution here but the team ultimately wants to use a WP page with a "download" button that redirects to the asset, rather than running the suggested script on a blank LP.    The asset is a MKTO hosted PDF that is being sent to our database via email. The idea is the click the email link, then click download on the LP and get redirected to the asset. I'm using the Clicks Link on Web Page trigger but it's not firing. Wondering if I set it up wrong? From earlier posts and experience, you know: (1) All non-ASCII characters in a Subject line must be Q-encoded — not a Marketo rule but a rule for email in general. (2) Marketo automatically encodes most characters for you, but for emojis you must Q-encode them yourself. (3) If you manually Q-encode any characters, you must manually handle all of them (Marketo switches to “manual only mode”). A 4th point might be unfamiliar: if you choose to Q-encode an entire sentence, a few characters that used to not require encoding suddenly do!   Those are the reserved characters in Q-encoding: = ? _ plus spaces and tabs. Hi All, I use my MacBook Pro Retina as my work computer. I have Windows installed, but much prefer the mac side of things. However, I like to send emails with Marketo's Outlook add-in for the sake of automated salesforce task registering and for the reporting functionality (was the email opened, was a link in the email clicked, etc...). Any suggestions as to how I can continue to use Mac OS X but send emails with Marketo?

Hi, I'm using mycompany.my.salesforce.com/{{lead.SFDC Id}} to send a Slack message with the lead info in Salesforce. However, that link is sending me to the Contact record instead of the Lead. Is there a fix for this?

Is there a maximum number of people that can be considered best practice in a smartlist.  I know that we can create a smart campaign restriction, and we currently have that set, but do you recommend a maximum number?   Also, what time frame do you recommend to review smartlist?   Thank you

Hi Folks,   Due to a wrong set up in lead tracking inside marketo, leads have been tracked under a wrong Digital campaign instead of others.  What should be the next step in moving these leads to their respective campaigns in marketo? Hi, I wanted to share if you have any insights on this? I’m looking at the overview report of 1 of the email we already sent. Strangely, it’s reported 1906 sent, while there’re 2119 delivered. Basically, it means we were supposed to send this email to 1906 people only, but somehow it ended up having 2119 people receiving it.     Does anyone know how it can possibly happen? Many thanks!

I'm setting up multiple Email Programs (A/B Testing) under one default program. I've created a Smart Campaign to perform a test for a seed list however I'm not able to add the emails I've created to the campaign flow - even though the emails are approved.      I am also unable to see the emails in another smart campaign Smart List trigger;     Thanks in advance for your help!   

Hi Community, My company started as a call center and still generates a lot of revenue from calls. The problem is, how do we track clicks on specific offers on our "Call To" links which use tokens? For example, below we're offering a 7-Night river trip and below that a Hawaiian islands trip. Both CTA use my tokens which are set up like this: tel:+1-800-822-4368 Is it possible to add a utm param to the token to track or would that break the token/link and/or Marketo tracking?     Thanks, LK  

Hi everyone, We've encountered an issue where a form cannot be submitted on Safari mobile. Any help please? We've tested the form submission on Chrome desktop and Chrome mobile, and it was successful. By "successful", we mean that the page redirected to a thank you page, and a PDF was downloaded. However, on Safari mobile, the following occurred: Instead of redirecting to a thank you page, the downloaded PDF opened Upon returning from the PDF, a message appeared below the Download button stating "Submission failed, please try again later." Hi friends,   I am trying to create a SC that when triggered, alternates the following flow step.   Example: SC is triggered by data value being updated. When Triggered, Flow step 1 calls a webhook. Then, the next time a data value is updated, I want the flow step to alternate to Flow step two, and call a different webhook. I want the action following the trigger to alternate or cycle through a series in succession.  Any ideas on how to accomplish this, either with one or multiple smart campaigns?   The purpose of this is to trigger alternating webhooks based on the same trigger action to divide and send the associated lead information among two different destinations evenly. If possible I would love to be able to enhance this and divide among 2+ destinations if a cycled series is possible. I appreciate your help friends!
