Adobe Marketo Engage

Hi Everyone,   Long time reader, first-time poster.    I'm storing some custom object values in a custom object and I would like to access this data when creating a static list. When I edit the view of my static list and look for a column to display these values I cannot find them.  How can I create a data table which shows me these values for each user record and manipulate it, either by exporting it or sending the CSV to an email?   Appreciate your reply Marketo community.   Thanks Rad

We have conversions that have been set up and tracking in Universal Analytics for years, and now after the GA4 migration are no longer working.   I can see the Marketo Form Listener & Marketo Successful Submit tags being fired when they are supposed to be, so it seems like things on the GTM side are working as expected.   Here is the event in GA4:     Any ideas why this event will not fire? Again, same exact setup as UA, but in GA4 will not work...

Hi ,   Client wants to transfer data from Google Cloud Platform to Marketo and they would like to automate this process.  Can we implement this with Marketo ? I browsed and found that it is possible  via third-party integrations tools. I ran an subject line A/B test and Marketo sent the sample and found a winner. When it came time to send out the email with the winning subject line, Marketo threw an error and skipped the send flow step but doesn't give any information on why.   Has anyone ever had this happen to them before? 

Hi Team,   Please help with this query. Today I noticed the utm parameters is not carried over to the destination website LP, but it used to be earlier. We have tracked programs in the past (details below).   We have a google ad clicking on the ad (this is UTM tracking link) takes us on the website LP, website page has multiple gated assets link, clicking each gated asset link takes to another website page which has a form. My understanding is that (infact this used to work fine earlier) the utm's gets carried over to the destination website page; but I now I see utm's are not getting carried over from the initial page because my tracking program stopped attributing the correct lead source.   Please help to troubleshoot.   Thanks, Deepthi.                      

Does anyone know of any implications/considerations of enabling Person Accounts after the initial sync of Marketo-SFDC using contacts? For example, we start off with syncing Leads/Contacts but if we then switch to enable Person Accounts, what are the implications on the Marketo end? Will it create duplicate fields and will Marketo support be able to merge the fields for us? Any other considerations when making this switch from business to Person Accounts in Marketo would be helpful as well. Thank you so much!

We deleted a bunch of inactive Person records in Marketo, but kept the Lead in SFDC. Some of the Leads are reactivating in SFDC and we want to make a Person in Marketo. We are getting this error. hi all hope you're well? please do we know how i can achieve something akin to this email attached in Marketo? I know we've a piece of work to do around imagery, but would it just be: add in a background we have a hex option on on an image & then match it with the email hex background? would the marketo image modules allow this please?   thanks, Mike  

Does Marketo have a native integration with LiveRamp? I can see it as an option in the UI but I've also heard that it doesn't work anymore and that I'll need to build an SFTP connector as a workaround.  

I have a LinkedIn integration with Marketo Measure (Bizible) and lead gen forms in english format have always synced and created touchpoints on the Bizible person record. Recently, my campaigns team created German and Spanish language forms and none of the form fills are creating touchpoints in Bizible. They are creating records in Marketo, that's syncing just fine as expected. It's only the touchpoints that aren't registering.    Anyone run into this as well and know how to troubleshoot?

This is a very basic question. I understand the specific scenarios when we use the email send and newsletter channels, but what is the underlying difference between them? What is the purpose of having two different channels when same thing can be achieved with just one channel - let us say 'email'? Thanks

I am capturing UTM parameters in hidden fields on Marketo forms via cookie. Recently we noticed that some of users UTM values are not being captured in the hidden fields even though the UTM parameters are in website cookies. Hi there,  We'd like to use clicks and opens as a metric for scoring, but I'm not sure how reliable those metrics are. We activated the bot activity identification, but it looks like there are still some 'fake' clicks (i.e. people click before the mail is open) which I assume is the security testing the mail. I'm not sure that the open rates are by real people.  How do you do to use those metrics? Or do you completely disregard them?   

I'm looking to update some lead scoring in an instance I recently inherited (no in house mops team).  Two questions to the brain trust here:   1. It appears that in every behavior score flow, there's a step to add to demographic score AND one to add to person score (same number of points). I thought that Person Score = Behaviour Score + Demographic Score was automatically calculated so I'm wondering why it would be set up like that?   2. What are best practices around capping lead score? Seems like a good idea for degradation to function properly, but would appreciate some advice on what to do/what to consider.   

Hi Brains trust,  I'm hoping someone can help me here. I'm currently setting up the Zoom <> Marketo integration. I have set up the LaunchPoint service in Marketo - that's a-ok!    We have webinars hosted by 4 different zoom users and from what I understand from the documentation (below) I need to add the email addresses of the 4 hosts in the configuration menu in Zoom's Marketo app configuration.     I have found the screen where I input the email address however I get 2 error messages pop up. I have confirmed that the user I'm trying to add does exist in both Zoom and Marketo.  Can anyone let me know what I've missed here? Is there a permission I might be missing in Zoom or Marketo?   Thanks Katie

I'm trying to import the Scoring Program from the library and have created custom fields in SFDC as instructed for both the Behavior and Demographic score. But the import still failed and sent me the error below. Where can I find the Lead Interest Object to create the Behavior Score in Marketo?Marketo encountered an error while importing Marketing Program: Scoring - Standard and Select Editions Why: The Behavior Score field exists in the following objects: Person What to do now: Create a field named Behavior Score in the Lead Interest object.

As moderator, you don’t typically start Nation threads, just finish them. 😉   But... just opened P1 cases for 2 of our clients and am quite sure there’s a widespread REST API problem that started in the last 48 hours. So figured it’s worth sounding the alarm here.   In brief, it’s with the /members.json POST endpoint (a.k.a. Sync Program Member Data). All posts that include PMCF values are returning System Error 611.  A request that only includes the "leadid" value is OK, but also useless.   If you believe you may be affected by the problem, feel free to DM me to review your findings. (But do be sure you know how to test this endpoint.)

Hello- We are looking to use LinkedIn Lead Gen forms in Marketo and through all the testing have not been able to pass the utm parameters to Marketo, which in turn needs to pass it to Salesforce. Is there a way that the Lead Gen form can capture and pass that information to Marketo?
