I'm discovering AJO and got stuck in understanding on how to create a Profile. Can somebody explain for me please!

Understanding Profiles in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)

A Profile in AJO represents an individual—such as a customer, subscriber, or user—providing a unified view of that person across all your channels and systems.

Key Characteristics of a Profile:

  • It is more than a simple record with basic information like name and email.
  • A Profile is a rich combination of attributes (static Profile data) and behaviors (dynamic Event data).

Profile Creation:

Profiles are not created directly within the AJO user interface. Instead, when data is ingested into AEP, the platform automatically creates or updates the corresponding Profile.

To understand more about the profile, follow the documentation below:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/profile/home

For understanding purposes, you can create test profiles by following this documentation:

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/journey-optimizer/using/audiences-profiles-identities/profiles/creating-test-profiles
