Buying AJO B2B without Marketo

Is it even possible? You need to buy Marketo with AJO B2B?

In documentation there is a sentence like:

Adobe Journey Optimizer B2B Edition uses Account Audiences and People Audiences from Adobe Experience Platform to power an account journey, which runs inside of Marketo Engage

​@Michael_Soprano there are currently two architectural patterns for starting up with AJO B2B. Fundamentally with the new architecture in place, AJO B2B is just the orchestration layer while the execution layer is the provisioned integrated Marketo instance. 

However there can be a situation where you might already have Marketo instance provisioned and then you can also create custom integrations towards your own Marketo instance and use Account and People based journeys in AJO B2B to activate towards smart list or add them to a smart campaign.

    But in both instances I have to have Marketo licensed?
