I have a client who is using DTM within a secure site, https://reservations.millenniumhotels.com/ibe/index.aspxWhen I open this site in Firefox, I see this error in my console:SecurityError: The operation is insecure. satelliteLib-b036f547cb74531b88442132a054ddca454ea887.js:2The satellite JS file is included like this:<script src="//assets.adobedtm.com/5405ae4aa30c9b11dc9852743bcc8c52b86b8725/satelliteLib-b036f547cb74531b88442132a054ddca454ea887.js"></script>As a result of this error, it looks like Adobe Analytics isn't tracking. (Although when I check AA's Browser reports, I can still see visits from Firefox.)In Chrome, I don't see this error in its console. Adobe Debugger doesn't show any Adobe-related tracking, though I can see a "/b/ss" image request in my browser's Network panel.Is it just my browser or is this a known issue?

If user goes to url that doesn't exist and then the browser gets status code 404 error aka page not found. If that happens, I would then like to save "errorpage" to s.pageName and the status code "404" to eVar5. Any ideas which would be the easiest or the best way to do this with dynamic tag management? I didn't see any rules for status codes in the "page load rules" section. Do I have to again (!) make some kind of custom script? Thanks for all the help.

We're trying to launch dynamic tag manager and the URL string is not being fed to Analytics. The only page showing up is "Other" and I can not find anywhere to trouble shoot this. Needing the URL so we can name the pages. Thanks!

Hey Folks,So we have already tackled the "Page Load" concept by using a direct call rule in which angular reports a page load on routeChangeSuccess. We report referring links on load of the destination page (instead of on click) to marry the page name with the link clicked in a single hit. We also have links on pages that do not result in routeChangeSuccess such a filtering or sorting a list of search results (but there could be a ton of other links now and in the future that would not result in routeChangeSuccess). We would want to send click events in this case since they do not result in a page load (where we would normally send out link names).We are looking for some ideas on the best way to track this sustainably so it can grow as the app grows. The two options I see are as follows:(DTM Admin Responsibility) - Define event based rule for all element clicks that do not result in a page load.(Engineering Responsibility) - Define another direct call for all element clicks that do not

I'm trying to figure out how to utilize an array in a Data Element using DTM.  Let's say I have the following:var datalayer = { products: [ { sku:'Product 1', quantity:7, price:9.12 },{ sku:'Product 2', quantity:5, price:4.78 } ] }Essentially I want to setup a Data Element for the products, and then use this to set the products variable for Site Catalyst.  What is the best way to do this?Thanks for your time!Tyler

I am currently trying to deploy the following tools through DTM: Adobe TargetAdobe Audience ManagerAdobe Marketing Visitor ID ServiceAdobe Analytics By using DTM, I am wanting to provide Audience manager with a prop value (for a visitor), and this prop value determines the Test and Target experience the visitor sees when they visit a test URL. The analytics is tracking a prop, i.e. prop1=test_value, and this is appearing correctly in the tracking as well as my test report suite. However, Audience manager is unable to find this prop and use it in order to determine the target audience. I was wondering if there is custom code that i need to implement in the DTM Audience manager tool in order to pass through the Analytics prop value through to the Audience tool? And if so, could i please get an example for what this code should look like? Thanks for any help 

Hi everyone, I have 2 questions regarding DTM indeed. Any help would be appreciated.1. event based rulesin Adobe Analytics section if I use partly interface for eVars/props/event and partly code it never works, it takes only values from interface, if I remove everything from interface and leave only code, it will pass everything like s.t() despite the box s.tl() is checked. That's pretty weird. What should I do as I need to use code in Open Editor for some logic2. page load rulesI've noticed that page names are never overriden. For example if I set page-load rule with populating page names on the "bottom page" level and then on the "onload" or "dom" levels another page rule overriden the pagename, it will never override.So for me it seems that the only possible case to set the custom page name for the specific page is - to create a page rule on the bottom level while setting the general rule for populating pages in the page load rule on the "onload" stageAm I right? Thanks in advanceAl

I am trying to set a rule to fire only when a <p> with the id of "ApplyFormError" shows, i'm using the enters viewport condition but it seems like the rule is firing before the element show.not when the element actually appears in the page[img]entersviewportsettings.png[/img]I want to know if my settings are correct? or if i should try a different thing???

I'm having trouble using a Data Element to set the value of an item that may exist multiple times on a page but have different data. Basically I'm trying to know which item someone clicked on when there are a number of items on the page. Within the custom code section of the Adobe Analytics sections I'm able to execute the kind of custom code shown below to return the value I'm looking for (on our site we have a page full of listings, each one with a button to get to the specific listing, and data about each listing is contained within the <li> tag a few levels up from the actual link).var listing = $(this).parents('.listing').data(); var s = arguments[1]; s.eVar22 = listing.zoneMapId;However, I'm not able to put that kind of code within a Data Element. Hi,I'm quite new to DTM and Omniture and am trying to figure out how to dynamically set the "link name" for a click event within DTM. Ideally I would like to append the ID of the clicked element onto the end of the page name e.g.:s.tl(this,'o', s.pageName + ' | ' + this.id,null,'navigate');Is there a way to do this within DTM?Alex

I am leveraging DTM and I am setting the product variables and a prodView event on specific pages.Because these are explicitly set, number of product views should be equal to the number of pageviews, however it is higher.  Upon further investigation it appears that the exit links and the download links are causing additional prodViews to occur. Looking deeper if I take the number of exits, the number of downloads and the number of page view it equals the number of prodViews.  When I pull apart the lnk_e call for an exit link the products variable and the prodView event are present.  So my question is:  In DTM, how can I trigger s.clearVars() before the exit link or the download link tracking are called?I tried using a rule with the condition return _satellite.isOutboundLink(this) but this actually triggers after the call has occurred.

New to DTM and after reading few articles about DTM, I'm also quite confident that data layers are really good to use for taggins (at least for the long run). Why or when to use "JS object" and when something else? Where do I code those data "variables"? Directly site or any js file? Hi,Started to use DTM with SiteCatalyst. Just testing on one report suite and let’s see how it works. At this point not really sure do we need the tag management. The setup with SiteCatalyst was quite easy to do and now my suite is collecting data ok. Now the real works aka tagging starts and lots of newbie questions in my mind. Let’s start with the first one.I would like to save friendly name to SiteCatalyst (s.pageName). I could use the url path for this. If we have over 100 pages on our site then it would be really time consuming to make rule (to pageName) for every page. What would be the correct/easiest thing to do this with only one rule/script, possible?For example, http://www.example.com page name could be “/”. http://www.homepage.com/category/cars/ page name would be “category/cars” so I want always save the folder path to s.pageName.Thanks for all the help.

Hi,      We are the trusted client of your company and we have been using your product for so many years in our project. Now we are using the omniture SDK(Windows Phone,window store) in our project. This SDK is working fine for store application but for phone it is throwing a run time Exception(FileNotFoundException).We have successfully installed the ADBMobile.winmd(For Phone)  in our project  but when we are calling the  ADBMobile.Config.CollectingLifeCycle() method inside the lifecycle method of phone,its throwing a FileNotFoundException at this method.We have discussed this issue on your Adobe Marketing blog also but after all that we are still unable to solve our issue.I have also attached the snapshot of the exception.Please solve this issue ASAP.
