I’m curious about the technical feasibility and best practices. Is combining streaming and batch ingestion into a single profile dataset advisable? What are the key considerations or potential pitfalls to be aware of when setting this up?Thanks in advance for any insights!

With the new PCI requirements coming up, I was curious with what everyones plans were with their Data Collection integrations.Are you switching over to Self Hosting as opposed to Adobe hosting? Separating out your payment screens to avoid the concerns with SPAs?We're trying to determine which plan forward is the correct one - and I was curious what the Community was doing!

Is it possible to configure AEP (Launch) Data Collection rules to enable/disable a 3rd party extension? For example, when a user makes a cookie consent selection on site, can we trigger the enablement/disablement of the relevant extensions (ex, Google, LinkedIn, Meta advertisers)? If so, how can we do this? Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you.  Tom

Hi, I'm new to this forum, so am unsure if it's the right space to ask this question. When I was accessing an unrelated website today, I happened to notice from the taskbar that another activity was in progress. Opening it showed that Adobe was unilaterally trying to open my previously downloaded files! I had not initiated any action to open any pdf files, so I quickly terminated the tab. Fortunately, the latest downloaded files had been renamed, so it couldn't find them. Is it normal for Adobe to kick off such activities or has it been hacked? 

What might be included here?- manual upload through UI into dataset - external audience import? 

Hello,I'm looking to leverage map datatype profile attribute to assign offer priority dynamically in AJO Ranking Formula, however, on the documentation it says that map cannot exceed 16 keys or else risking performance degradation.I was able to ingest records with 30 keys, so this is not a hard guardrail.My question is, is this performance degradation linear or exponential?How will the performance differ from using map vs 30 if statements in AJO Ranking Formula? Thank you.

Is it possible to enable capturing the Android id and IDFA using AEP Mobile SDK?

Hey there! We just launched a new campaign with event forwading. I tested the body of the event that I was going to be sending over thoroughly to ensure that it is correct, but when I actually published it, I'm seeing a 1% error rate.Of course 99% success is great - but I'm trying to diagnose what is wrong with these events to update my code and I'm not sure where to look to identify the issue. I've looked in the monitoring UI and all I get back is a 400 bad request, and my destination platform does not provide any useful feedback for what went wrong.Has anyone else ran into this issue? How did you diagnose the problem?Appreciate any insight here!

Dear community, I was tasked with connecting Streaming Event Data into AEP using Kafka. I was following "This Link" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex2) "Link 2" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex3) and "Link 3" (https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/platform-learn/tutorial-one-adobe/activation/rtcdpb2c/rtcdp26/ex4). The first time I completed all these three links, I was able to finsih the exercise. The nex day, I was following the same steps and I was able to achieve the same results. However, one day when I try to access the connection, I was following the exact same steps but I ran into some errors. The following three steps what I have been using everytime I wants to restart Kafka connection each day. 1. bin/zookeeper-server-start.sh config/zookeeper.properties ( in "This Link" or 2.6.2)2. bin/kafka-server

hi, I have set up a custom destination server and destination to stream (so not file output) audiences to an end point. Hi,I’m working with a schema that contains an array of objects — for example:accounts: [{ account_number, account_type, account_status }]I’d like to create an audience that qualifies a user only if there is at least one object in the accounts array where:account_type = "savings"account_status = "active"The key requirement is that both conditions must be true within the same object, not across multiple objects in the array. Example scenario:Given this user data:accounts: [{ account_number: "123", account_type: "savings", account_status: "inactive" },{ account_number: "456", account_type: "checking", account_status: "active" }] The user should not qualify, as the savings account_type is in one object and account_status = active is in another object. Any guidance on how to set this up in the audience builder would be appreciated! Thanks!

I recently added a new Field Group to a Schema, I added data to the Dataset, but the Field Group is still not appearing when generating the Snapshot. What I have already verified:- Schema and Datasets are enabled for Profile- The Field Group data is already in the Dataset- The last snapshot taken is after the data was included in the Dataset- The snapshot already contains the new profiles created with the new Field Group, but the field group data was not included Questions:- Can I force the snapshot to be generated to verify the generation of the field group?- Is there any other way to include this field group in the Snapshot? 

Hi everyone,I’m working with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Campaign and have a use case where I need to export streaming audiences from AEP to Adobe Campaign in real-time, or at least within a few minutes after profiles qualify.When I try to activate audiences via the Adobe Campaign destination, the scheduling options under "Edit Schedule" only allow: 1. Incremental exports (minimum frequency of 3 hours), or 2. Full exports (daily or after segment evaluation).I'm using SFTP with password as the connection type, and I can see audience qualification works as expected in AEP.

Hello, In Adobe UI I see there are 500 audiences in total. Where as in segment_ingestion_dataset there are 1500 distinct audiences.I tried searching for some audiences which are there in dataset but not in UI. In API call it stated: entity not found.I have two questions:1. is it possible that deleted audiences details are there in segment_ingestion_dataset?2. How can I filter these audiences, as there is a field segment_Status in its realted schema but no data is populated under this fiel

Hello folks, I've created Data Distiller audience, and after initial batch it worked. Now I've overwritten the dataset with a new batch using this. I can see the dataset being updated (initial batch deleted and new one ingested). However, the audience is stuck in the "Processing" status (since multiple days now) and segment memberships are not being updated in the profile with a new date. Recreated the test with same end result. Is there something I'm missing, or do DD audiences only work with "insert into" and not with "insert overwrite into"? Mauri

I am trying to make an update to a schema in our Dev environment, however when I hit save it gives me an error"This operation to update mixins: *CLIENT NAME* Contact Details is not possible as it is used by schema: *CLIENT NAME* Core Customer Profile which participates in a union operation: https://ns.adobe.com/xdm/context/profile__union which is referenced by Dataset: [67ec132ff008ba2aeec69197, 67f7de8e8dd71e2aef9a20f2]" However, I have deleted out those datasets.  Is this just a timing issue that it takes time for the system to recognize the datasets are deleted or do I also need to go delete the dataflows?  All dataflows were one-time executions so nothing should be running there. Is there a way in the tool to get the actual names of the datasets being referenced?  My only thought at this point is it's an OOTB dataset, in which case, how would I go about making changes to the schema?  Wouldn't it be locked in forever?
