Hi All,we are using DTM in our application . this url we are calling https://assets.adobedtm.com/95c8c0a378a45cf5bc582abd33a15aa1a/satelliteLib-2b2a53dd4702ffad815d85cf27cb-staging.jsfrom our code but it is failing when we are in VPN . how to load this url when we are in VPN , the testing environment is some where in the remote machine. to connect to it we need VPNThanksRaj

Hi there, I need to implement this piece of third party (Google AdWords) code using DTM and am getting an error message - "Unexpected token: operator (<) (line: 2, col: 0)"
<img height="1" width="1" style="border-style:none;" alt="" src="//www.googleadservices.com/pagead/conversion/1069691071/?value=1.00&currency_code=GBP&label=JuECCPnNxwQQv-GI_gM&guid=ON

Hello DTM Experts,I am working on the DTM implementation and it seems to be going really well before I encountered this requirement to set the currency event (Ex: event10=4.55) for a event based rule.Any examples would be of great help.cheers,Scott

I'm struggling to properly configure an Event Click rule in DTM that will correctly deploy a Pointroll script. Are there any resources available to support this particular scenario? Has anyone successfully used DTM to deploy Pointroll? Thanks,Frank.

We are trying out the integration of Adobe Target via Adobe DTM. The situation is that there are some existing pages that already have mbox integrated in the page. Now,when we rollout the Adobe Target tool via Adobe DTM. We find that this tool is loading in every single page!. I tried setting up the page specific criteria to identify the set of pages where this needs to load. Though the mbox wrapper fires only on these specific pages, the Mbox.js itself is still getting loaded in every page. How does one avoid Target from loading in every page where DTM is loaded.? I'm told that for sitecatalyst, I can accomplish this via page specific code. What about Target?Regards,Dheepak

We have an issue where we're not being allowed to use query string params for internal campaigns because of caching issues. Does anyone have any experience with using DTM (specifically data layer) to populate campaign IDs and assign to proper campaign types?

Hi Guys,I would need pass a dynamic value (which I collected with Data element) and put this into a pixel image (marketing pixel). I've trying to call a Data Element into 3th party tag, HTML (syncr or asyncr), but I cannot know form of call it also I'm trying call this into javascript type, and in this I can call Data Element but i can't add a pixel (not permisse use document.write).Ideally I would like that can call Data Element on HTML (sync or asyncr) and in this put a dynamic value into image pixelPS: pixel is like :Any idea?Julià.

Hi Everyone, I've been using Sitecatalyst but am new to Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM). I have some basic questions just wonder if anybody can help me?1. Can DTM replace Adobe Analytics? In other words, there are some Adobe Analytics codes incorrectly implemented on the website before and now we are switching to DTM. Do we need to fix the existing Adobe Analytics codes, or can we just ignore them and DTM will do the job without Adobe Analytics?2. My understanding from the DTM user document is that DTM doesn't deliver data collected to anywhere unless you set up specifically. If that is the case, do I still see any reports if access from Adobe Analytics report interface? Thanks in advance.

In our DTM implementation, we're using an old hosted s_code alongside DTM. We're using a data layer throughout the site, but on our CQ (content) side, the data layer population is based on an AJAX call that doesn't happen until DOM Ready - by that time, DTM has already fired. My pageload rule is capturing everything on our commerce side without incident, but the CQ side will not pass the data in the data layer. We tried delaying the pageBottom call, but that just created 2 image requests. Moving the pageload from Bottom to Onload prevented any variables configured via DTM to pass. Has anyone run into anything similar? Thanks,Chad

I am looking for help trying to understand the proper way to place a tag.I would like to verify my website on Pinterest and in order to do this I must place a tag in the
section of my homepage. Even though my DTM header script is in the
section of my site, when i set the page load tag to fire at the top it still fires in the
.Can someone please help me understand how to create a rule in DTM in order to have the 3rd party script load in a line before
on my site.Thank you.

Hi,We have Google Analytics Premium and therefore are allowed up to 200 custom dimensions, in the DTM interface we can only so up to slot 20 in the drop down menu - can we have this extended please?Happy to provide further details. Thanks,Edgar

Hello everbody, regarding to this FAQ page articlehttp://www.searchdiscovery.com/satellite/adobedtm-faq/ (Does Adobe DTM support Multi-Media tags like video playback analysis?)i want to track video events (started, play, pause, ended) for YouTube embedded videos. But honestly i don't know what that means. On implementing side i found an example on how to embed YouTube videos und recognizing the mentioned events above. In this case i can call the _satellite.track("video_started") function and detect this within DTM by a direct call rule. BUT i want to know if there is another way tracking YouTube videos natively. This is important because i don't have access for a page i want to implement the tracking logic. So does anyone knows what that means "They have native support for HTML5, YouTube API, and Vimeo API." and how to treat it? Thanks in advanceAxel

Hello,It doesn't appear to be available functionality, but I am new to DTM and would like to know if it may be possible to configure custom workflows in DTM?Our internal business process around DTM will essentially involve varied levels of "approver" involvement depending on the types of DTM rules created/submitted for approval (i.e. more thorough ITQA testing will be required for higher risk rules that involve custom code, whereas they won't need to be involved for what we consider simple low risk rules). It would be great if I could somehow configure custom workflows to funnel different types of requests (as defined internally) into the appropriate custom workflows. Thanks,Jason

Hi,It seems like downloadLinkhandler Plugin is not working with Appmeasurement code in DTM. Is there any specified way to use this in DTM?Sanmeet

Happy New Year to all!Having a little trouble with my DTM. For some reason, no new tags that I've created in the year of 2015 will publish live. I can create the tags, test them successfully in staging with the Adobe DTM Chrome Plugin, but when I approve the tags and publish the queue, nothing happens. The changes aren't made to the live site. I am hosting my instance of DTM through Akamai. Usually the changes are reflected in roughly 5 minutes after publishing the queue. Its been over an hour now and still nothing. Anyone have an idea?Thank you.

I've been having problems getting DTM to update rules after I approve and publish. I'm not sure if I just have to wait for the cache to clear out, or if there is a way to clear it manually. For example, I updated a Lead Success to fire a custom event and I also changed the title. However, after not seeing the event fire in digital pulse debugger, I noticed in the _SATELLITE that the name isn't updating so I'm assuming that's why the change I added to the rule isn't working either. I've notice this happen before when I've tried deactivating a rule and it still fires. Why does this happen and what can be done about it?

HiI am trying to implement DTM with "AA page code already present on page", using the same s_code.js URL as for the present page code. I specify Object name = "s2".Now Event based rules are fired, but it seems that the AA tool settings associated with it are not considered, no beacon is generated neither, while custom JavaScript associated to the same rule is executed just all right. As soon as I uncheck the "AA code present" option, everything works well.Am I missing something? Many thanksMarco

Hi Everyone,I am a bit confused on how the page behavior will be when we enable the option "Adobe Analytics page code is already present".Currently i have a Web Property with Sitecatalyst tool installed. The Header and Footer embed code of this property is set in two different pages(lets say Page1 and Page2). Page1 also happens to contain the legacy code in it, whereas Page2 has no legacy code. Now with the above option enabled in the web property, Page1 send tagging using the legacy code(which is a correct behavior) because DTM does not interfere in this case, but the problem i face is with Page2 which does not send any tagging at all, whereas the expectation was it would send the tagging based on the s-code configured in DTM and other logic in Page Load Rules and Data Elements.Am i missing something here? May be there a configuration that i am missing? Or is this the actual expected behavior?Regards,Riyaz

1. I created a new Page Load Rule.2. The conditions on the page are a. Trigger rule at DOM Ready b. And only fire when dataelement OrderId is numeric3. I created a Non-Sequential HTML script in the Javascript / Third Party tags section –4. I have two variables I want to alter on the page a. fb_param.value = %SubTotal%; ==== This works fine as this is a javascript variable on the page. b. fb_param.currency = 'USD'; === This does not work as you can see it is hardcoded as USD but I want it to be dynamic. So here is the question: For fb_param.currency = 'USD'; I want the ‘USD’ to be dynamic on the page based on an asp:hiddenfield on the source. Everything I try to access this hidden field variable doesn’t seem to work the way I think it should. I have created a dataElement for it called CurrencyTypeI have tried to access the variable with jQuery :

Hello, I am new to DTM and I have set up a few data elements and I need to set the page name on every page but there is no page refresh. The page names are defined in the data layer. How do I create a rule, specifically, to capture the page name depending on what it is defined in the data layer?

We are facing some issue regarding the page load rules.Below are the steps we followed:. We created 2 page load rules, and set them to Trigger at "Top of page".. In one rule we added "Sequential Javascript" and in the other we added "Non sequential Javascript".As per DTM documentation, the expectation was "Sequential Javascript" code should have always executed before the "Non sequential javascript".However, this is showing random behavior, sometimes the sequential javascript rule gets executed before the non-sequential javascript rule; and sometimes the non-sequential javascript rule executes first. What we want to achieve here is to always execute a "Rule 1" first before another "Rule 2". We are creating these rules to trigger at "Top of page".Even if we create both the rules with "Non-sequential javascript", is there any way we can set the order of the rules so that one rule always fires before the other rule.In other words, in what order does DTM will execute 2 rules to be triggered

Getting started with DTM. Our legacy analytics implementation (with which I'm only vaguely familiar) is based on s_code.js with the media and integrate modules andsome custom js code we have developed. We've decided to start using appmeasurement.js and its related sources (for media, integrate and visitor id) for this integration.I've set up the Adobe Analytics tool in a test property and published. I've looked over the generated javascript code that I am supposed to embed and I don't see anythingthere that looks like it might have come from my 'managed' s_code. Does DTM re-implement the functionality from which ever s_code-ish code I decide to use? If so, what isthe purpose of specifying the s_code that is to be used?

Hi,I have recently started using DTM. Overall, the tool gets a double thumbs up! But, I am facing issue in tracking certain exit links. Upon inspection this is the code of the link -
Careers
In DTM, I am using event based rule. To track this link i have put the event type as 'click' and i have tried putting the tag both as li#careerTool and a.flyoutBtn . I am then clicking on s.tl() exit link and setting the props/evars/events that shall be fired when this event takes place.Upon debugging. In the DTM debugger, DTM tracks a click on A and the rule is fired. In the omnibug/digital pulse, two images are getting fired simultaneously. And is getting doubly recorded in Sitecatalyst as

We have an internal site we are tracking, which is a single page which uses Angular.js framework to change views and content. I've set up some code within Angular to fire the s.t() call every time a "page" displays. The s.t() call works as expected for each 'page' rendered by the Angular code. What I'm running into though is on the initial load of the URL, we are getting two s.t() calls: 1 - A 'generic' call which has no pageName specific data, since that is set within the Angular display code. I'm assuming this is the s.t() triggered by the pageBottom() function. We do not want this as it fires before the Angular code has a chance to build and populate the required values.2 - The s.t() call fired by the Angular code as it is triggered when that code displays the first 'page' content. This is working as expected and is the call we want.Once past the initial page load, only a single s.t() call is being made for each new "page". My question is what is the best way to stop the empty call

Hi,My company is trying to see if transitioning to DTM will be a good option for us. We have decided to go with the library download hosting option and I have a question regarding it. From the DTM help page I see that "JavaScript libraries: Produced by the Management Application and transported to hosting servers." Does this mean that we can not upload some common libraries directly and then reference them in the Javascript/3rd party tags section with an includes reference?I'd really appreciate any input that anyone may be able to give me in this matter. Thanks for your time,Mike
