We are currently working on documentation to help support migrating from Adobe Mobile SDK v4.x to the Adobe Experience Platform SDKs + Adobe Launch. Let us know what questions you have about this process.

One of the feature requests we see the most for the Analytics extension is Plugin support. This is something we want to bring to Launch in 2019 and we would love to get your input. As we start researching how to best go about doing this we would love to hear your thoughts on what things will be most valuable. We understand that Plugins can still be used through custom code but we want to reduce your need for customization where possible and allow you to control this within the extension configuration.  We would appreciate it if we could get some comments on how you are currently using Plugins and what controlling Plugins from Launch would look like for you.

Hi!So I was wondering if there are any extensions that anyone is using that you recommend as MUST HAVES (aside from Core/AA/Experience Cloud)? oh, didn't mention Target/AEM,AAM, etc. since not everyone is there yet or will be using them.Thank you for any input! still discovering which ones would be great to use!

Hello,In custom link reports for mobile apps, i am seeing 'AMAACTION' being added to the report values. Is there anyway to get this value 'AMAACTION' removed from the values  AMACTION:loginClicked-07/27 AMACTION:Event1 AMACTION:login:clicked AMACTION:login: loginSelected - 07/23Thanks,Priya

Hello all, We are currently using JSON-LD Schema on one of our sites and I am looking to create a data element and not sure how to do the data mapping. I usually use the w3c standard but for this client they have Json-LD Schema implemented on the site. For mapping i am use to using this format digitalData.page.pageinfo but not sure how to use the script objects in Json-ld.e.g based on the below example how do i create a data element for @type: product or "sku" or event offers[array]i am using var jsonld = JSON.parse(document.querySelector('script[type="application/ld+json"]').innerText); to display the script on the console (for testing purposes)document.getElementsByTagName('script') also returns script object on the console but using document.getElementsByTagName('script').getAttribute('type'); or   document.querySelector(jsonld["@type"]); returns null. so I need help in capturing these object in a data element.. i need something similar to  digitalData.page.pageinfo.attribute to capt

Hi Team,We are facing an issue with rule firing, DOM ready event fires first and the pageview event (which sends data to adobe analytics) fires 3 seconds slower most of the time. Ex: I've configured DOM ready event for Adobe analytics setting variables and used direct call event to send pageview to Adobe analytics, order value details are mentioned belowDOM ready order value set as 50Direct call order value set as 99Is this an issue with order value or event need to be changed as page bottom or top load to make this rule fire properly without any delay?Mainly we are seeing a @data discrepany between Google and Adobe, Google analytics shows different page view data which is comparatively higher than Adobe Analytics. GA tag is configured via GTM and it will fire the tag when the page loads. Whereas Adobe launch setup has DOM ready to set variable and direct call to send pageview with different order value. It would be very helpful if someone provides an answer to this query, facing this i

Hi guys!Im new to the community, wasn't sure if this is right place for this question, i hope so Im working on iOS mobile app that uses Adobe Mobile SDK for analytics tags. And im curious if there is any way to automate tests for analytics events?Basically when UI tests is running and, let say specific button was tapped, how can i automatically assert that analytics data got generated and call being placed ?I google it, and wasn't be able to found anything.Curious  if anyone else face same situation and maybe found some working solution? Thanks!

Hi,I am trying to understand DTM.I see that there is AEM that implements tagging on pages for classification and search. On the other hand there is Adobe Analytics, that records data from pages.1. With reference to these two how does DTM fare? DTM looks to be combination of these two.2. I am also reading "Data Distribution" as a part of DTM documentation. Is it like information exchange like passing arguments?3. When we think of a Tag management system, what strikes me is to collect and use tags. But DTM looks to be going much beyond tags and this.Probably a practical use case clarifies things better.Appreciate your support.Thanks,Rama.

I would like to know pros and cons of nested and flat data layer to implement on a web property? Also, would like to understand if there any concerns related with implementing anyone of the data layer method with respect to Adobe Launch (TMS)?

Hi, I am trying to capture product name and SKU of all the products that added to cart on the checkout page. how to set up data elements and rule in Adobe Launch? I assume it may require custom code? Does anyone know?SC

What are the best practices for Single-Page Apps tracking using Launch? Basically, I'm looking for a robust techique for collecting / dispatching virtual pageviews (JS framework agnostic). Here https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/experience-cloud/launch/c_extension-dtm.html I found that Launch Core extension contains events like “Custom Event” and “Data Element Changed”.  I suppose I should use one of these features, but not sure which one to select as I don’t know their pros and cons.  On the web I found some examples for DTM only, I don’t know if they are applicable to Launch. When working with GTM, I used custom events for these purposes. However custom events in GTM are just key-value pairs pushed into the GTM data layer. But in the DTM-related articles which I saw on the web custom events refer to something absolutely different: Javascript-native interface called CustomEvent: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/CustomEventAny suggestions / documentation on

Hi, I am trying to implement the performanceTiming Plugin with DTM. I implemented the Plugin like it is explained in the documentation: performanceTiming I also implemented the required other plugins:appendListgetPreviousValueI also did all the configuration and created events 40-49 and evar52 for the tracking. I implemented it on a site where an iframe is embedded. When loading the homepage and starting the visit, the values are stored in the s object in the console. When opening another page, I would assume that in this case events 40-49 and evar52 have to be set. For eVar52 it is set and fine, but the events are not set. In the s object I get the following info:ptc: truepte: "event40,event41,event42,event43,event44,event45,event46,event47,event48,event49"Why are the events not set? Does this problem occur because there is no "real" new page load on the second page view as just the iframe is loaded? Thanks for your help and kind regards, Jasmin

Hi Team,I'm new to Adobe Launch. I've created a web Property in Launch and placed the code in the website and I don't see the request code is not working . I am having issues with the Max Frequency Rule in Adobe Launch. Is there a trick to getting it to work. As of right now I want my rule to only fire once per pageview, but it doesn't seem that setting it to the default of once per 1 pageviews is doing the trick. Is there something I'm missing?

Hi all,I see an issue where Analytics script injected using DTM does not work on Mozilla Firefox & IE, works in Chrome.I have already done the following initial checks on FF primarily,1. The DTM satellite script opens up correctly in Firefox when opened via "view page source" and clicking on the link for the satellite js.2. It has the necessary data in it and is not blank. initially it showed not able to access, but by allowing the exception, i am able to access it now.3. Another script _satellite.pageBottom() (I do not have the exact syntax, but you know what i am trying to put forth) is also included in the page footer.4. I do not have the error screenshot from the browser console, as when i cleared once, it does not show up now.5. I tried using "Digital Pulse Debugger" and the debugger never loads. (added screenshot).6. FF version is latest 53.0.3 (32-bit). The same setup works in Chrome.

Hi all,I have tried the "Enters Viewport" event in a couple of projects now and it never works for me. All of the projects are SPAs, nevertheless, I would assume that the event is bind to window scroll as well, so there should be no difference between SPAs and common websites. Here is a screenshot of what I'm configuring. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Anyone else experiencing problems with this event type? Thanks for your help!Best,Konstantin
