Adobe Experience Platform

Hello Team,  Has anyone recently implement AEP Web SDK Launch extension? Interesting to know the steps to get it done and how to  replace AppMeasurement.js, Visitor.js, and AT.js with one tag to rule them all.

Hello people, I hope one of you will be able to help me. I have a customer who wants to link its Launch to Google Analytics. He wants to send data in GA (and keep Adobe tracking) to better understand the attribution. Regarding this need, I decided to use the gtag specifications withing Adobe Launch. I am struggling to use the 2 extensions in Launch. I cannot save as build what I set up. I tried to disable the extension then re-enable it, uninstall, then re-install... nothing works. Does someone as ever succeeded in using gtag with Adobe Launch please?

I have a third party JS to be added to my site. I know such things are done through Extensions - but the JS I am trying to add is from a very custom small third party vendor. So I am not sure , if we will have an extension any time soon. Is using "Extensions" the only option I have ? Or Can i do something here in Launch to make sure that this JS script fires as required. Last option would be to embed the script directly on each page of the site. So , exploring a solution from Launch side. Thanks

I am migrating a property from DTM to Launch.  I have a couple of rules that trigger on Library Loaded that I need to fire early, so I set the Order value to 10 and 20.  All the others are the default of 50.The rule with an order of 10 always fires first, but one with an order of 20 always fires after several of the 50 rules.  This is causing some grief. Why is the order value not honored after the first one? Thanks!

I have a rule that sets variables for adobe analytics on my global page load rule on page top. then I set the s.t() beacon on windows loaded because I have Dun and Bradstreet firing data API collection in between. What would happen if I remove the s.clearvars after the s.t() beacon fires on windows loaded?  The reason I ask is because another extension (Qualitrics) needs access to the global variables here: s_c_il[1].eVar1 but since I clearvars they are undefined after windows loaded. Questions:Do I even need clearvars after I send a beacon for page load collection? wont the values get overwritten on the next page with the new values anyway? I dont have SPA pages so that is not a concern. Can I set clearvars at the beginning of the next page instead of clearing vars after the beacon? I just want to better understand the potential impacts before making changes.

Hello Team,  In our current Launch implementation we have republished the library but when we check in browser console using satellite.buildInfo command, showing the build date when the library originally published.  Sometime this varies so not sure what happening exactly. Is there any issue with Launch ?  For reference please see attached screenshot.

Hi All,To upload extensions via npx @adobe/reactor-uploader package to Launch,I tried creating an integration through Adobe I/O and authenticate with Adobe IO integration details. But I am getting the below error while trying to do the same,No extension package was found on the server with the name cookiede-api. A new extension package will be created.Error uploading extension package. An unknown error occurred.I have aslo tried to authenticate via access token while uploading extension to Launch. But  I am getting below error with this approach,No extension package was found on the server with the name cookiede-api. A new extension package will be created.Error uploading extension package.id:     0873fe73-b129-4591-9c21-1aec45b8c874status: 403code:   not-authorizedtitle:  Not Authorizedmeta:  request_id: eTVXFQ5c8Ucad2gnxNSXe8QqKwhATX4Jsource:Any help on this would be more helpful? Thanks in Advance!Sundhara M.

For AppMeasurement managing the library I think it's a good idea to send the version within a prop to know when the versions change in the event there's some reporting anomalies.  I discovered setting a data element to the value of the s.version only works if the beacon is sent after DOM ready. However, if setting the prop manually within custom code, in the AA ext(enable after settings..) or page top rule this appears to work as expected.  I'm unsure if this is due to a race condition or if this is the nature of how Launch checks data element when using the javascript variable. This also works nicely for getting the RSID dynamically too by using s.account.

I have migrated properties from DTM to Launch, and when doing so, I always have a host for each environment. When I create a new property and have it hosted by Adobe, do I also need to create a host for each environment?

Some Background My organisation migrated to Adobe Launch from Adobe DTM in 2019. There are typically 3-4 people working on the same Property at any given time. In DTM, our "rule" for editing was:  do not edit any Resource (Rule, Data Element, etc.) where "Status" is "Unapproved" In essence, this enforces the idea that an Approved change to a Resource can only come from a single Editor at a time. Adobe Launch When we started working with Adobe Launch, we assumed there was no longer any need for "manual" rules like our DTM example, because the separate DEVELOPMENT environments would keep changes to a single Resource on different "branches" (to borrow a term from versioning systems). This assumption was proven to be wrong (everyone is always editing the same instance of each Resource, albeit creating new versions as they go), and the need for a manually-enforced approach is still there. The Problem In Adobe Launch, the unanticipated problem we encounter (with multiple Edito

I am looking for additional guidance around using Angulartics2 framework with the Launch, by Adobe provider to implement data collection for Adobe Analytics. I am able to make it work but I am looking for best practices, suggested patterns, success stories, reusable components, etc. Any help from experts is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All, We have recently migrated our property from Adobe DTM to Launch. I have a direct call rule, in which evars and props are set using mapping at UI level in Launch, however events and products are set in the custom code of same section "Set Variables" under Action in launch. Now , the call to DCR has been written like this in code controller : try {      window._satellite.track('commonsPageLoad');    } catch (error) {      console.error(error);    } finally {      window.digitalData = {};    }Here, before DCR fully gets executet ,i.e., before image request getting fired , datalayer gets emptied from finally block. It results in loss of data , when image request is firedIs it due to custom code executing asynchronously ? Can anyone please help on this, what needs to be done.

I'm manually setting and submitting an array of document titles in custom code in Launch when a user executes an action. However prop47 isn't getting stored in analytics but it looks like it's getting set in both the Adobe debugger and the console. The data is correct but it's not getting stored. Prop50 is the same value (business requirement, don't bother asking why the duplication) and it is working. Any thoughts on why? Here's the loop:for (var i = 0; i < docLength; i++) {      var s=s_gi(xxxxxxxx);      s.linkTrackVars='prop1,prop47,prop50';      s.prop1=articleIDs[i];      s.prop47=myDocs[i];      s.prop50=myDocs[i]; //stores title in the all titles prop      //console.log('in loop' + myDocs[i]);      var interaction = myDocs[i] + ":copy links inline";      s.tl(true,'o',interaction

Hi, i am creating my first Launch property that will be using SFTP hosting. i have configured my server and port and username but the last requirement is to encrypt private key.  https://developer.adobelaunch.com/api/guides/encrypting_values/ this is my first time and i am looking for step by step instructions on how to do this.  thanks!p.

Hello, I'm starting to use launch to implement Google Analitycs pixel by using adobe launch rules. I'd like know if it's possible to actually see the pixel ID number by using the gtag extension?  By now in the console I can see that launch is working, and I can see all the rules there but can't see the pixel ID number. Hope you can help me, thanks!

Hi Team,AEM 6.3 is our web framework and we used to insert the Launch code by adding a component, please find below screenshot for reference. In the previous version of Launch extension (v1.4.2), the script looks like (<script src="//assets.adobedtm.com/launch-EN1821a583a47f4a5098fff8a489c60c0b-staging.min.js" async></script>), however, in the current version (v1.6.2), the script is different with addtional params added which is highlighted in red color(<script src="//assets.adobedtm.com/0e8da62b9d32/c95dd86dde95/launch-bb260aaa8508-staging.min.js" async></script>). Hence, if we add the launch key by using the component in AEM 6.3, it doesn't take the code which displays before launch, please find below screenshot for reference. And it displays 404 error as the code is not assimilating the launch code generated at Adobe Launch console. We have published the launch core extn library as well, still it throws 404 error. It would be great if someone help to resolve t

In Adobe Launch – if we have rules/tags that we want in production but don’t want active in Staging is that possible to do with only one “property” where we migrate from dev -> staging -> production?  We don’t want the tags in staging because they go to the vendor if people are testing them and that skews true production results – we only want in staging to test, then promote to production and then disable just from staging.

Hi, we have a couple of (migrated from DTM) data elements using the "getQueryParam" function, using the Common Analytics Plugin this function is loaded together with the library, but when the rule containing the data element with custom code where this function is used fires, we encounter the following error:Failed to execute data element module core/src/lib/dataElements/customCode.js for data element customernumber. _satellite.getQueryParam is not a function TypeError: _satellite.getQueryParam is not a function at Object.source Anyone else using this plugin and have some insights to share about getQueryParam function?

Does anybody else find that they have to constantly log-in to Adobe Launch? It frequently causes error messages and reloading of the page.

Written following script it's shows the URL in alert but it's not sending any URL to the Adobe Analytics.jQuery(document).on("click",".lia-search-results-container .page-link, .lia-autocomplete-container .lia-js-autocomplete-list-item-link", function(e){ e.preventDefault();  alert(jQuery(this).attr("href"));  return jQuery(this).attr("href");})I am in new in DTM please share the step by step guide

With the migration to Adobe Launch, the ionic developers must change our apps to change to the new Adobe Launch platform. Is there any instructions to switch to the new Adobe Analytics Launch in ionic? Thanks a lot
