Hi all,It seems like the behavior of Launch is still the same as in DTM when it comes to direct call rules & global variables. Global variables are not registered in a direct call rule. For me this is a leftover from DTM times where there was a difference in Event Based, Page Load and Direct Call Rules. With the new "Core" Module concept in my opinion there should be the same behavior in all drop down options. The differentiating factor should be if I call s.t() or s.tl() when I send the beacon. Can anyone explain to me the concept behind this?Thanks.Konstantin

Hi,I've seen some issues with the ContextHub extension:if I open the Editor, with data in it, and then click Cancel next time the Editor is empty.if the schema is Valid I see an error in browser console and all Data Elements based on the Extension are not working.Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Hi, after following the basic documentation that is available to install the Experience Cloud ID Service extension with Adobe Launch I got the following results:- DTM debugger basically says the ID Service loads:[Experience Cloud ID Service] Created instance using orgId: "MYID@AdobeOrg" [Experience Cloud ID Service] Set variables: {"trackingServer":"XX.sc.omtrdc.net","trackingServerSecure":"XX.sc.omtrdc.net"}[Adobe Analytics] Setting MCID instance on the tracker.- About 6 s_vi cookies are set- No AMCV  cookie is set- No MCID value available on Analytics request- calling Visitor.getInstance("MYID@AdobeOrg") from the console returns an object without MCID value.Is there any additional documentation or clues that anyone could offer to troubleshoot this implementation issue?I do not know if this matters but for background:- my web property is a subdomain (sub.main.com)- main.com is another property where the experience cloud id is already set up via DTM. Hi All,  We are implementing AEP SDK in our mobile application for both platforms- iOS and Android. We have implemented the GDPR optout privacy using MobileCore.setPrivacyStatus method, below is the link for reference :https://aep-sdks.gitbook.io/docs/resources/privacy-and-gdpr#set-and-get-privacy-status When user has opted out, analytics requests should not be sent to adobe server. Is there a use case for having more than one adapter?  I can see the need for two if you have one website using Akamai and another site using sftp?  But can one presume most orgs would only require one adapter? Is there another scenario that I might be missing?The whole notion of adapters is somewhat confusing (particularly the name), why not select the hosting location when you create the environment? 

Hi,We migrated our Facebook pixel from GTM to Adobe Launch. We created a rule using the Facebook extension action type "send page view" (screen grab below)What we noticed is, once the Launch rule was published, the pageview counts in facebook spiked significantly.GTM tag was paused before Launch rule was published, so there shouldnt be any issues with the pixel firing twice. We note that GTM configuration had "Fire Once per Page" option ticked, which we believe is replicated by "Core - Page Bottom" event in Launch. What we are wondering is, has anyone else come across this issue? or have we missed a step in creating the rule? Any thoughts/feedback is welcome. Thanks.Winston   

In DTM page load rule can we use three conditions in the  Conditions > Rule Condition to trigger the rule. Attached Screenshot1. Will these three condition functions like (AND) && operator or (OR) || operator?2.Is there any limit in adding conditions in the  Conditions > Rule Condition section in DTM3.If the conditions check is like && operator .will it work for event load rule?

I am uploading my data in a simple person details dataset but it says the batch is successful however the profile is not loaded in the profile table.The error in the profile table is  What could be the possible reason ?

Hello people, I hope one of you will be able to help me. I have a customer who wants to link its Launch to Google Analytics. He wants to send data in GA (and keep Adobe tracking) to better understand the attribution. Regarding this need, I decided to use the gtag specifications withing Adobe Launch. I am struggling to use the 2 extensions in Launch. I cannot save as build what I set up. I tried to disable the extension then re-enable it, uninstall, then re-install... nothing works. Does someone as ever succeeded in using gtag with Adobe Launch please?

I have a third party JS to be added to my site. I know such things are done through Extensions - but the JS I am trying to add is from a very custom small third party vendor. So I am not sure , if we will have an extension any time soon. Is using "Extensions" the only option I have ? Or Can i do something here in Launch to make sure that this JS script fires as required. Last option would be to embed the script directly on each page of the site. So , exploring a solution from Launch side. Thanks

I am migrating a property from DTM to Launch.  I have a couple of rules that trigger on Library Loaded that I need to fire early, so I set the Order value to 10 and 20.  All the others are the default of 50.The rule with an order of 10 always fires first, but one with an order of 20 always fires after several of the 50 rules.  This is causing some grief.Why is the order value not honored after the first one?Thanks!

I have a rule that sets variables for adobe analytics on my global page load rule on page top. then I set the s.t() beacon on windows loaded because I have Dun and Bradstreet firing data API collection in between. What would happen if I remove the s.clearvars after the s.t() beacon fires on windows loaded?  The reason I ask is because another extension (Qualitrics) needs access to the global variables here: s_c_il[1].eVar1 but since I clearvars they are undefined after windows loaded. Questions:Do I even need clearvars after I send a beacon for page load collection? wont the values get overwritten on the next page with the new values anyway? I dont have SPA pages so that is not a concern.Can I set clearvars at the beginning of the next page instead of clearing vars after the beacon? I just want to better understand the potential impacts before making changes.

Hello Team,  In our current Launch implementation we have republished the library but when we check in browser console using satellite.buildInfo command, showing the build date when the library originally published.  Sometime this varies so not sure what happening exactly. Is there any issue with Launch ?  For reference please see attached screenshot.

But I am getting the below error while trying to do the same,No extension package was found on the server with the name cookiede-api. For AppMeasurement managing the library I think it's a good idea to send the version within a prop to know when the versions change in the event there's some reporting anomalies.  I discovered setting a data element to the value of the s.version only works if the beacon is sent after DOM ready.However, if setting the prop manually within custom code, in the AA ext(enable after settings..) or page top rule this appears to work as expected.  I'm unsure if this is due to a race condition or if this is the nature of how Launch checks data element when using the javascript variable.This also works nicely for getting the RSID dynamically too by using s.account. 

I have migrated properties from DTM to Launch, and when doing so, I always have a host for each environment. When I create a new property and have it hosted by Adobe, do I also need to create a host for each environment?

Some Background My organisation migrated to Adobe Launch from Adobe DTM in 2019. There are typically 3-4 people working on the same Property at any given time. In DTM, our "rule" for editing was:  do not edit any Resource (Rule, Data Element, etc.) where "Status" is "Unapproved" In essence, this enforces the idea that an Approved change to a Resource can only come from a single Editor at a time. Adobe Launch When we started working with Adobe Launch, we assumed there was no longer any need for "manual" rules like our DTM example, because the separate DEVELOPMENT environments would keep changes to a single Resource on different "branches" (to borrow a term from versioning systems). This assumption was proven to be wrong (everyone is always editing the same instance of each Resource, albeit creating new versions as they go), and the need for a manually-enforced approach is still there. Hi All, We have recently migrated our property from Adobe DTM to Launch. I have a direct call rule, in which evars and props are set using mapping at UI level in Launch, however events and products are set in the custom code of same section "Set Variables" under Action in launch. Now , the call to DCR has been written like this in code controller : try {      window._satellite.track('commonsPageLoad');    } catch (error) {      console.error(error);    } finally {      window.digitalData = {};    }Here, before DCR fully gets executet ,i.e., before image request getting fired , datalayer gets emptied from finally block. It results in loss of data , when image request is firedIs it due to custom code executing asynchronously ? Can anyone please help on this, what needs to be done.

I'm manually setting and submitting an array of document titles in custom code in Launch when a user executes an action. However prop47 isn't getting stored in analytics but it looks like it's getting set in both the Adobe debugger and the console. The data is correct but it's not getting stored. Prop50 is the same value (business requirement, don't bother asking why the duplication) and it is working.
