Do I need Launch to use alloy.js?

Is there anyway to dynamically grab a data element? Say grab Vehicle Color after a user picks a color and navigates to the "Summary" tab on the below URL:URL: https://www.chevrolet.com/cars/sonic-sedan-small-car/build-and-price/configAnother example of dynamically grabbing a data value might be scraping a SPA once a form is submitted to grab information from the served "Thank You Screen", or even grabbing the value from the ajax request itself as it is made.

I am trying to migrate a property in DTM to launch. The existing DTM property uses Library download as the option for deployment[Since the client wanted to host the files locally]. But when I am migrating it to the launch and using the DTM link option in environment and the archive feature. It does not update the same DTM archive. Is there a way the DTM archive can be updated ?

Hi Allin our lower environment the launch link for dev is redirecting to the stage launch link. is there any reason why it might be happening ?

I tried republishing an older library on Monday in an attempt to revert back to an older set of rules.The Republish never completed - buildInfo still shows the newest library that had been published.Icon next to the library I attempted to republish shows the whirligig still, 4 days later.More importantly, we can't publish any new libraries while this is stuck - Launch gives us error messages with "cannot publish while a republish is in progress"Anyone have any ideas, workarounds, etc.? Contacted Customer Care person assigned is on a 12-15 hour email difference, and I'm not certain understands what I've described.

Hi,Is it possible to verify Google Search Console using the HTML tag method via Adobe DTM? I tried adding the verification tag as a sequential HTML but had no success. I do not use Google Tag Manager or GA so those methods are out of the question.Thanks,John

We have more than 2 ad account for a particular third party extensions, so does the Ad cloud extensions allows more than 2 ad accounts on the same website?  Can we have more documentation around the Advertising cloud Extension available in Launch ?

Hi all!So I'm having the following issue. We have integrated adobe analytics cartridge into salesforce (demandware) build website and it was working correctly.We had to add a new property to the adobe object and it was working okay, until reaching the checkout. Now our checkout is separated into different steps (login, billing, shipping etc...) where all the content is loaded via ajax. I'm using the adobe experience cloud debugger and my goal is to see the new attribute in the object shown there, but i'm not really sure how i should fire the AA init to fill/rebuild the object. I read different articles for _satellite and tried pageBottom and track function but can't get this working. Can anyone give an idea how should a AA object be rebuild and send to the platform without reloading the page

Although when I finally upgrade in DTM, I run into a persistent issue.For some of the pages Analytics Tag are not getting triggered.Can anyone guide me what should be the issues or how to roll back changes from Launch to Dtm.

Hello,We have an AEM video component that updates a data layer whenever an event occurs such as Playback started, percentage reached, etc.  Using the function below, I can see the data layer is in fact being updated by testing for the values existence after the events have occurred.  Is there a reason why the Data Element Change isn’t activating? We are migrating from Signal to Launch. We had set up rules and migrated all script libraries. We have added Launch code snippet to the head tag of our page.In the console we are getting below error._satellite.__registerScript is not a function.We have tried loading required script libraries to page bottom/page top/window load but noting worked out.Please help us in resolving this issue.Note : We have our pages built in People Soft as we were not able to add Launch JS code snippet to the head tag. When I am using Analytics extension in Launch, it does not allow me to save the configuration and keep asking for "Production Report Suite". I was able to do the same thing several month ago. Is this a bug for the new version of the extension?One possible solution is that I can choose it from data elements. However, can somebody teach me how to do it correctly if I am using data element?

Hi All, We have recently migrated our dtm property to launch, by using "Link to DTM Embed code" option. Now, even after publishing, the launch prod environment script links back to DTM production script, in that case DTM property will always have to be active ? After Adobe grays out DTM, whjat will happen, how will this linking work? Secondly, for more development activities and testing on staging, we will be dependent on Launch command tool to run staging script on urls? Request and appreciate early response ! Thank you.

Hi Fellow Community Members, I tried extracting the s_vi Cookie value from our webpages using "s.Util.cookieRead('s_vi')" into Dev Console but I see empty results. Upon looking into the Cookies on the webpage, I can see 3 s_vi_* Cookies i.e. having a key value like "s_vi_sx7Fhx7Cax60dawgx7Fsx7Bx7Cbx60x7Dv" and value as "[CS]v4|2F46411F0515933C-40000B5502212790|5E8C8268[CE]". I also tried extracting the value of 'mid' and 's_fid' Cookies using the above function but all returned empty result. I am listing down my questions below related to this issue. 1. Why are there 3 s_vi_XXX cookies on our webpages? Is this correct and expected behaviour for a particular website?2. What is the meaning of the suffix in the above Cookies i.e. XXX part in s_vi_XXX Cookies?3. In the value of s_vi_XXX Cookies, which part of the string represents the Adobe Analytics Visitor Id that we can use in our systems?4. How can we extract only the Adobe Visitor Id from this s_vi_XXX Cookie?5. How can

When we create a new Adobe Launch configuration in AEM, we provide the values of fields like "Associated IMS Configuration", "Company", "Property" etc, and then on the next window, the staging & production fields get populated automatically. I was just wondering in this case, what is the use case of the "development" environment(s) in Adobe Launch. Are they just for developing the properties, but do not serve as an integration point in AEM? And if not, could someone guide me resources on how to go about to point to development environment?I have currently have setup following the instructions at Integrate AEM with Adobe Launch Via Adobe I/O . So in the author environments, it points to "staging", and on publish dispatcher it points to "production". Since we have four different AEM environments (dev/test/train/prod), the team was wondering if we could have the lower environments point to "development environment" of Adobe Launch.

Whenever I tried to build the library with latest update version then "Development Building" message is visible for long time (in progress).And if i try to build the library with older version then it is asking me to apply update and continue.Please let me know teh solution.

Hi, My doubt is regarding to extensions. I have installed Adobe Analytics extension in one of my mobile property, but while building the rules i'm not able to see Adobe Analytics extension whereas Desktop property has the same.Regards,Vijay

We configured the Analytics Extension to automatically track exit and download links for certain domains and extensions respectively. There is also a doPlugins which adds some events and eVars to these with something like this:if (s.linkType === 'd') {    // set some eVars and events} else if (s.linkType === 'e') {    // set some other eVars and events}This works fine, but as this isn't a rule where I have full control over the actions, events and evars set here, are repeated with the next rule that is fired. We created all the rules with the Clear Variable action at the end, but now it seems, we should have put it first, before setting the new variables. Is this the only way to make sure these eVars and events are cleared before the next rule fires? Or is there a way to tell the Analytics Extension to clear variables also for these two automatic link trackings?

We would like headerAccess-Control-Allow-Origin: *set on the adobe hosted files, in order to get full js error stack traces into our logs. Is that a possible ?
