Adobe Experience Platform

We're implementing Adobe Analytics for a eCommerce site that has different currencies, depending which country you are in (i.e. Sweden gives you price in SEK, Germany in EUR, etc.). When a purchase is completed, the following is pushed to digitalData:  "transaction": {"transactionID": "1234567","total": {"Price": {{PRICE}},"currency": "{{CURRENCY}}" // e.g. SEK, USD, EUR} According to the docs, in such as scenario you can change the currency from a preset to custom, inside the Adobe Analytics extension in Adobe Launch. I changed to custom, and am referencing a variable whose property path is transaction.total.currency (this should match the path from the code above). EDIT: I know its collecting the currency correctly, because I also set a eVar which is showing me e.g. "SEK" in the AEP debugger extension However, it still doesn't seem to be reporting this correctly in Workspace. What am I doing wrong? How can I debug/troubleshoot this to check that it's actually work

Hi everyone!Just checking out this documentation:https://github.com/adobe/adobe-client-data-layer/wikiI'm guessing this allows you to use the Adobe Client Data Layer extension in Launch.My question, how do you reliably reference elements in the data layer if it pushes the objects and parameters as indexed items in an array?Our data layer is an object so it's very easy to reference the path as a JS variable e.g. digitalData.product.id, but if it's in an array how would you know which index number to reference to reliably bring back the desired value?Does the extension add in a different data element type to handle this?

I'm trying to create a product string via Adobe Launch by  JSON payload with the context data from the app (productCategory, productName, quantity, price, etc.)  from the app. But for some reason the values from these aren't passed along - it just ends up saying "Unspecified". I know I'm able to send the context data keys, because if I write {"contextdata": {"textstring":"This is a text string"}}, I can see that in Analytics. So the problem seems to be when I want to use data elements from launch, which are supposed to capture the value of the different context data keys. Does anyone how to refer to the context keys in Adobe Launch?  

I have a feedback button enabled on our webpage. I want to capture the Question & Answer given by the users in this feedback form & analyze them into adobe analytics. I have created a list variable for this & set the conversion classification and its hierarchy also. But in launch how should I configure or map that list variable so that whenever a user gives feedback it floats to adobe analytics?  Thanks,jsvasu 

I'm trying to create a rule where when a user clicks an icon on the page the rule fires. The icon is however within an iframe, and i cannot target the URL. 

Hi,I want to fire a tag in Adobe Launch based on time spent on the page. I know we can use the Time On Page Event type to do this. But, if I want the tag to fire on after different times on certain pages, can it be done via one rule or do I have to create multiple rules?Eg. Page 1 - www.abc.com - fire tag after 10 seconds      Page 2 - www.xyz.com - fire tag after 15 secondsDo I need to create two different rules in Adobe Launch or Can it be done in one rule? if so, how?

It worked on 6/1, but today on 6/3 it's not working.  Why is this feature important to you - I use this to see all the dimensions that are captured on the page to pull the correct value of that dimension for a workspace project.How would you like the feature to work - List all the dimensions that are captured on the page and copy the value of the dimension to the clipboard.Current Behaviour - It's not listing the dimensions.

Need some clarification on the below:1. are these features still available in AA (prime license)? 2.  as per this article, it can be achieved through very manual way - is it still valid? any limitations? Basically, Does Mobile (AEP) AA contain in-built features for marketing features? or do we need to rely on third party plug-ins?

I know Extensions have shared modules where they can be shared with other extension code.  Can the same structure be used in a piece of custom javascript code deployed as an Action?We have been developing a set of utilities (similar to what we did in DTM) that we are calling "Useful Things Adobe Should Have Cooked Into Launch" (granted, it needs a less unwieldy name!).  We can load in in custom JS and make the functions available at the window level, but if we could cook it all into an Extension it would be easier to deploy across all of our properties.

According to this:, the embedded code should appear in order to be replaced but it doesn't; it's even worse, Adobe Experience Platform Debugger doesn't allow me to add a new one since it doesn't find Adobe Experience Platform Launch: , so this tutorial can not be followed. Perhaps adobe's technicians should look into this issue. Regards.IL. 

Hi All, I am trying to reduce Mobile App server call using Adobe Launch Rules capability. Is it possible to use the Launch rules to target specific trackState calls and restrict the beacons from triggering? Looking forward to your help. Or should I go the Classifications route?

Hello, I'm trying to setup a super simple Web SDK use case and struggling with several issues.Hope somebody can support on that...Problem 1I'm building a Data Element using "AEP Web SDK" and type "Identity Map". The namespace list doesn't let me select the namespace I created in the specific development sandbox. Instead only the namespaces of the production sandbox are listed here. How can I solve this?Problem 2When sending the event using a rule, the ECID is missing as a subnode of my identification XDM mixin. Thus I was thinking: one can add it to the data element from 1). However no ECID is showing up in this list (see screenshot above: no ECID). Documentation states "Determines whether this identity should be used as a primary fragment in the unified profile. By default, the ECID is set as the primary identifier for the user.". But it doesn't tell how to add the ECID to the XDM payload. And its not sent automatically.Of course, ingestion complains as the ecid is missing .

Hello,  We have configured a button that is populating via Adobe Launch for every page load rule as below: The button is populating on all pages exactly the way we wanted it to be however there is no call happening to Adobe Analytics when we are clicking on the button. I have checked it in the Network of the developer console window, which ideally I guess it should.  So at this node, I wanted to confirm, Do we have to do set up a "Send Beacon" here like that ?Best   

Hi everyone! While installing the facebook pixel (I used the extension) i should also do the domain verification. Can I do this through Launch somehow? Or I have to use the methods recommended by facebook? (add code on the site or upload verification file to root domain)

During analysis of some activity on our organization website, we have discovered that some activity from button clicks are not being tracked by some browsers. Most often, this appears to be for Safari and Mozilla/Firefox but not related to privacy blocking because some activity is tracked with no issues but not some button clicks (triggered by a specific CSS data attribute).  The action triggers the following in console:  Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://assets.adobedtm.com/ ... .  Clicking on the link provides another message reading in part// For license information, see `https://assets.adobedtm.com/ This is followed by the rule action that was not fired.  Has anyone else encountered this or have any idea why or how to work around this situation?

Hi All, Can someone help me to find the Places Monitor Default Monitoring Mode for Android? For IOS Default Monitoring Mode is ACPPlacesMonitorModeSignificantChanges & totally we've two modes, for changing/setting the modes between ACPPlacesMonitorModeSignificantChanges & ACPPlacesMonitorModeContinuous we've Places Monitor API reference. Now I've have to set the Monitoring Mode for Android, I've referred Places Monitor API Reference document & few other documents as well but unable to find any information related to Monitoring Mode for Android. Is there an event configuration where my rule would trigger on the equivalent of window.addEventListener("message" ...) ? Then even more vexxing is can I then create rule conditions filtering on the values in event.origin and event.data? Based on what I see - I think the answer is no. Use case is I have an iframe using postMessage to let the parent window know something happened. I suspect I will need to create my own listener. Then let that listener do the appropriate filtering and validation and then based on the payload fire the appropriate direct calls.
