Delete an identity namespace

Hi all,

 

I'm just getting into setting up our AEP Data Collection configuration and I was curious if it's possible to delete a custom Identity Namespace that I just created? There doesn't seem to be unless I'm missing it in the UI--seems as though it is written to our instance in permanent Sharpie.

Once a namespace has been created we don’t have any way to get it deleted/reset and its identity symbol and type cannot be changed as well.

    Ah okay... Are there plans to introduce a way to delete a namespace or at least change the type and symbol?

    Hi @jgrubbs 
    As far as I know there are no plans in place to ammend/delete an exisiting Identity. Reason being, this may affect services downstream such as Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Journey Orchestration (JO), and Real Time Customer Data Platform Destinations (RT-CDP).
