Adobe Experience Platform

Hi, I'm trying to store form field values to session storage and access them on the thank you page, when form is submitted. I tried the attached code in Data Elements. But it's not working as expected. Meaning the values do not appear to be in session storage when i check on thank you page. Any suggestions on how best to do it? 

In this Adobe doc page this is mentioned: scOpen: Increments the ‘Carts’ metric. scAdd: Increments the ‘Cart Additions’ metric. etc But in this Adobe doc there is no reference of how to send these events.   So my query is that while sending these event from mobile platforms (say) Cart Additions events, do I need to map/change that event name into scAdd?

Hi,   I am trying to send some Segments created in AEP to Google Ads Destination. I have created connection with Google Customer Match and Google Ads for this. But while activating the segment, got an error. Please suggest how the Adobe's user identification IDs (such as Hashed ID/ ECID) is readable in Google destinations. Do we need any extra setup for IDs conversion?

Hello, I have a use case where I need to retrieve the real-time CDP profile of a customer, which contains both profile data and event data, using an API. I am aware that we have a Profile API that can fetch profile data or event data by passing schema.name as _xdm.context.profile or _xdm.context.experienceevent. However, I would like to know if it's possible to retrieve both profile data and event data in a single API call.

I wonder why in Step 5 on First-party device IDs in the Platform Web SDK | Adobe Experience Platform uses FPID as primary identifier, given order of priority will only enabled ECID during new cookie identification of user. ie. Step 5 : should only have ECID = 678 instead of FPID = 012 being used as identifier.

Hi All, In AEP destination dataflow, I have observed that the total count of Identities Activated > Profile received (see screenshot below). How is it possible because in both the Profile  & ExperienceEvent Schema I've defined only one Identity and that is customer ID and common namespace. So, anyone please help me to understand how it's calculated?   Note: From ExperienceEvent Schema I have linked relationship to one lookup class(orderid is the primary identity in lookup class)   Thanks, Shubham  

Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to restrict the data pulled from the source connector. Currently, I have a table in AWS Redshift with approximately 250,000 profile records. However, my development sandbox license only allows for 10,000 records. Therefore, I would like to import only 10,000 records to test if everything is functioning properly. Unfortunately, I haven't found an option to limit the data during the connection process. One potential solution could be to create a new table and transfer 10,000 records from the original table, then link this new table to the AEP dataset. I'm curious if there's an out-of-the-box solution for this.  

Hi All,    Looking for your support on the AEP to Pega Customer Decision Hub connector. We have received the credentials(Client secret, Client ID ect) to connect with the Pega CDH and AEP is able to connect with the Pega destination when we add the credentials.  We have activated certain segments to the Pega CDH destination but we are getting the error "Authentication error reported while pushing events to the destination. Please check authentication credentials and try again"   Has anyone faced this issue before? or was able to successfully establish a connection between AEP and Pega CDH?Your response will be very helpful!Thanks  Ankita

Hi all, I'm at my wit's end trying to figure out why a relatively simple tag is firing twice on the page. It's a gtag (google analytics tag) that fires on click of an anchor element with the telephone attribute. Hi, we’re trying to fetch profile & event details via API. To establish a connection with AEP, we are using token api to generate token which return CORS policy error. Please note this error occurs only when we try to access token api programmatically. With Postman, it works.   Token API End Point : https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/exchange/jwt/ Payload : { “client_id” : “<clientId>”, “client_secret”:”<clientSecret>”, “jwt_token”:”<jwtToken>” }   Error :  Access to fetch at 'https://ims-na1.adobelogin.com/ims/exchange/jwt/' from origin '<origin>' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Hello,   We are working on edge segmentation. Our use-case requires both the server API as well as the web SDK for the edge data collection. My understanding was that the edge segments should get computed on the edge server and we should get the segmentMembership in the response to the interact call. But that is not happening. Is this understanding incorrect or am I missing any config?I followed multiple step-by-step tutorials and nothing worked.   Regards Abhishek

Hello,   We have a requirement to update the b2b_opportunity data using the HTTP API Source. It seems that there are two ways to do it:1. Include the payload header "msgType". Both the allowed values (xdmEntityCreate, xdmEntityUpdate) actually overwrites the data and thus we always need to send the complete payload. 2. Adding the payload header "payload.data". This doesn't work for non-profile entities.   Is there a way to achieve what we are trying to do here?   Regards Abhishek

Hello,   The error message is    Rule "Send Tracking Beacon" is invalid because its rule component "Adobe Analytics - Send Beacon" relies on an extension not included in the build   No indication of what extension is missing. Installed are Core, Adobe Analytics, and Experience Cloud ID Service.   I'm just trying to get a MVP beacon for testing on a new site. Firing the beacon is the only rule. No data elements are configured.   Can someone give me a pointer on where to look for an answer, or what extension might be missing? I have reviewed the tutorials and 'getting started' pages and find no information on this issue.   Thanks.   mp

We have the deeplink which opens an App. After connecting to Assurance, all analytics beacons in "Tracking Event" shows "Post-Processed Status" as "No Debug flag".
