How do we export and schedule data from dataset into csv format?

Adobe Experience Platform currently supports dataset exports only through Destinations, and the export formats available are JSON and Parquet. CSV export is not supported for full dataset extraction.

If you need a CSV file, the closest option is to run a custom SQL query in Query Service, display up to 1,000 rows in the UI, and then download those query results as CSV. However, this method is limited to the preview row limit and cannot be used for a complete dataset export.

For full-load dataset exports, the only supported formats remain JSON and Parquet via destination enablement.

      Fully agree, CSV does not support the deeply nested nature of data structures through objects and arrays.

        Yes there are APIs, you need to build your custom File based Destination Connector using Destination SDK, in here you can define the file format as CSV - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-platform/destinations/destination-sdk/functionality/destination-server/file-formatting
