Upgarding CQ5.5 to AEM 6.0

Hello All,

I am having requirement of upgrading CQ5.5 to AEM 6.0.Please tell me how to do upgradation of AEM6.0.

To upgrade from CQ5.5 to AEM 6.0:

  1. Backup your CQ5.5 instance (repository, configurations, custom code).
  2. Download and install AEM 6.0.
  3. Use the AEM Upgrade Assistant to check compatibility.
  4. Migrate content and configurations from CQ5.5 to AEM 6.0.
  5. Update custom code to ensure compatibility with AEM 6.0 APIs.
  6. Test thoroughly in AEM 6.0.
  7. Once verified, perform the final cutover to AEM 6.0.
