Limit what is pushed for translation

Question

Hi, I am helping a client with their content in AEM ... and recently watched a demo of how to set up translation from AEM (an API integration in place now in order to connect to machine and human translations).

Can yo please help clarify if and how i can limot what is pushed for translation machione or human etc. via variables or filtering to only translate new or added contect strings and avoid pushing all available strings each time.

AEM allows you to control exactly what content gets sent for translation using "translation rules" and content filters.
You can set up these rules via an easy UI (Translation Configuration), specifying which pages, properties, or resource types should be included/excluded.
When updating translations, AEM detects and sends only new or changed content - not everything each time.
For even more precision, you can use filters to include/exclude content based on properties (like "draft" status) or manually pick which items to include in a translation job.
You can also define if items go to machine or human translation as needed through job/project settings.
