Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hi All, We are working on a integration between AEM and Adobe Campaign Standard. The content for the emails is prepared in AEM and used in Campaign. The issue we encounter is that urls, for example image urls, in the email always point to author instance, instead of the publish instance. We're using the oob externalizer, with a check on the runmode to return the correct author link or the publish link (in AEM we want to use the author links for -eg- images, in Campaign the publish links)Does anyone know why the author link is always being returned, when we expect the publish link, in the Campaign emails? NB: we are sure the externalizer osgi configuration is correct (we've doublechecked this). Thanks!

Hi AEM Gurus,  I am deploying Facebook Pixel, a piece of code that place on the official AEM sites. Pixel collects data that helps the team brand to track conversions from Facebook ads, optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads and re-market to people who have already taken some kind of action on customer official website. Question:Can time trigger be set up in AEM and/or Adobe Launch? The purpose is that marketer would like to collect the visitor information, e.g. how long visitor stay in one page and then take Ad. accordingly. Visitor may be lead to the official sites by different channel, so the marketer would like to confirm which channel is the most valuable. Thanks.

AEM Performance and the Many Faces of Sling Dynamic Includes  by Achim KochOverviewAEM performs best when rendered pages can be cached statically. For partly dynamic pages, Sling Dynamic Includes (SDI) is a proven method to include the performance. But did you know, that SDI can also help to speed up the re-rendering of static pages after purging the Dispatcher cache? In my latest article I am explaining how SDI works, when to use it and when not to: medium.com: AEM Performance and the Many Faces of Sling Dynamic Includes

Hi Team      I am trying to add CSP headers to my pages. I know we can add it as Headers via dispatcher (which is more secure) and also using meta tags. I need to add some nonce values. So I am thinking to use meta tags. Has anyone implmented CSP with nonce values in AEM as Cloud ? Do you have any pointers on the best approach ?   Thanks Veena

AEM Convert Excel to JSON Simple Servlet Example   by Brian Ka Sing Li @ SourcedCode.com Overview In this article, I present a straightforward yet powerful solution that demonstrates how to seamlessly convert Excel data into JSON format using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). By implementing a custom servlet, I will illustrate the process of converting an Excel sheet named ‘example.xlsx’ into structured JSON data; it can be downloaded below for you following this tutorial. This tutorial is validated on both AEM 6.5 with the latest Service Pack and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS), ensuring its compatibility with diverse AEM environments. By enabling HTTPS in AEM, you ensure that your connections are encrypted and secure, laying a strong foundation for secure communication protocols. This step-by-step guide walks you through the process using AEM's built-in SSL wizard. Ensure encrypted connections and fortify trust with your users. Let's make your AEM environment a safe haven for digital experiences. Section 1: Generate Private Key and Self-Signed CertificateThis section outlines the steps to generate a private key and self-signed certificate pair, essential for enabling HTTPS in your AEM instance. If you already possess a private key/certificate, feel free to proceed directly to Section 2.Step 1: Install OpenSSL Software:Begin by installing OpenSSL software on your system. This toolkit provides the necessary tools for managing SSL certificates and cryptographic operations.Step 2: Launch Command Prompt as Administrator:To execute commands with the required permissions, launch Command Prompt as an administrator. I added basic rule for title component conversion and updated Modernize configurations with correct path.  When I trigger job for Component Conversion or Policy Conversion, I am getting Status as "Not found". There are no errors in Modernize logs I created to debug issue.Even though rules are working fine, I am able to see count as well before triggering job but still no luck.   AEM = 6.5.13 Modernize tool : aem-modernize-tools.all-2.1.0-aem65.zip

Hello community, for our new project we need scheduled jobs for running e.g. importer tasks during the night. I am using sling jobs for many years now - but the scheduled jobs in AEMaaCS make me crazy - they sometimes run, sometimes not. I believe this is due to the architecture of AEMaaCS using an author cluster and depending on which instance the job was created and which is active it gets triggered or not. My question, how can I schedule sling jobs by using a cron expression which will guaranteed run?Which is the golden approach to be used in AEMaaCS?Code snippets:Job executor: (service = JobExecutor.class, property = { JobConsumer.PROPERTY_TOPICS + "=" + PimImportRunnerJob.PIM_IMPORT_JOB_TOPIC}) public class PimImportRunnerJob implements JobExecutor { public JobExecutionResult process (final Job job, JobExecutionContext context) { ... } } the job gets scheduled in the activate method of my osgi service (service = PimImporterV2RuntimeService.class, immediate = true) @D

Hi Team,  In our AEM instance, there are multiple different projects are installed and the requirement is to customize the content fragment editor plugin for multiple projects without impacting one another. I know we can override the StyledTextEditor.js to make the required RTE plugin customization for content framgment but the problem is, if we override the changes under /apps/dam/ that would impact all the projects.  /apps/dam/cfm/admin/clientlibs/v2/authoring/contenteditor/editors/StyledTextEditor.js Also we have another option to create a JS and add it to dam.cfm.authoring.contenteditor.v2 category with the required customization if we don't want to override under /apps/dam but the problem with the approach is, it would impact other projects as well since we are adding it dam.cfm.authoring.contenteditor.v2 category.  I just wanted to know how to customize the plugin specific to the projects without impacting one another. Please let me know if
