I have a Resource that represents a page. What is the proper way to get the URL for this page?  These resources are coming from search Hit objects.   // in my case, paths are coming from search Hit objects Resource pageResource = resourceResolver.getResource(path); Page page = pageResource.adaptTo(Page.class); String url = ...?

Hello,I was studying the new feature of AEM, "Content Fragments", introduced in AEM 6.2 and further enhanced in 6.3, however I am not very clear about the actual use-cases of the Content Fragments and need more insight. 1.  The Content Fragments are suitable for long article pages or news pages, but I don't think it can be used for all types of authoring right?2.  Suppose, we have Article Pages and News Pages in our website, both of which are created everyday, so authors can create those as Content Fragments instead of authoring those as pages? Is that right? And once the authors have created the content fragments, are we required to write some workflows/event listeners which automatically create pages for them?3.  Also, as Content Fragments are only about content and not layout, so we need some component which will take its content and render it in the required layout. What happens when we want different layout for different content fragments for Article and News Pages? Also, in a dia

Hi All, We tried to implement js/css minification in our AEM setup. It worked for author and publisher but not working for dispatcher. we used this - https://www.aemquickstart.in/2016/04/enable-js-and-css-minification.html link.

We have some very basic workflows to publish and delete.   We have noticed that when you delete a folder with assets the assets are correctly sent through the workflow to be approved for deletion but the folder isn't.   Also, we can't even initiate the workflow on an empty folder.   So, overall, we can delete the contents of a folder by selecting the folder but not the folder itself.   Is there a way to do this by using workflows?   Thanks

Hi all, I need to create a dialog for component having both Touch UI and Classic UI. I came up with the standard layout for both of these dialogs, and all multifield values are storing as JSON array But the issue is once i add the nested level multifield values via Classic UI dialog, these doesn't appear in Touch UI vice-versa and Content that getting store in JCR for touch-ui nested multi-field doesn't contains "/" in json array, but in classic-ui nested multi-field its store with "/" like below {"subheaderTitle":"","subheaderLink":"","supportColum1Links":["{\"text\":\"Assessment Associates\",\"link\":\"/content/demo/en/support/support-for-you/teachers/work-with-us/roles\"}","{\"text\":\"Exam Officers\",\"link\":\"/content/demo/en/support/support-for-you/exam-officers-administrators\"}"]}   Can anyone suggest some solution for this please.  @arunpatidar @joerghoh @lukasz-m @saravanan_dharmaraj @b_sravan @manjunath_k

Hi team,   Here my code is like below, line number 1 <!-- Here I cant get a value to isEmpty variable without starting a loop it in this line cas all the fields are inside a multifield. Also if I start a loop from this line it is not the output I want. Simply I don't want to loop it from here--> <sly data-sly-test.isEmpty="${!proprty_value}"> // property_value should be a mandatory property one  <sly data-sly-use.templates="core/wcm/components/commons/v1/templates.html"/> <sly data-sly-call="${templates.placeholder @ isEmpty = isEmpty}"></sly>   <sly data-sly-test="${!isEmpty}"> //rendering html has been put here. So when mandatory property has a value only rendering html will be execute otherwise placeholder will be appeared.   line number 25 </sly>   Problem is I have a component where all the properties are inside a multifield and I can't assign a value to isEmpty field without starting a loop from the top of th

Hi,   We have a project, where CSS and images are getting loadded when we access AEM non cloud 6.5 instance.   We have deployed the project in AEM Cloud using jar. In this case, CSS and images are not getting loaded. Seems something is missing while moving to cloud. Could anybody please tell how we can check the dependencies related to CSS and images?   Thanks, Shilpa

Hi,   We are planning to integrate OKTA with AEM as Cloud Author instance. Looking for some reference.   As of now we are following the below documentation: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/administering/security/ims-config-and-admin-console.html?lang=en https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/cloud-service/authentication/saml-2-0.html?lang=en   Thanks!

Hi,I am using Autocomplete as sling:resourceType and have added "datasource" which fetches the list of "Id" and "Title".The options and values nodes are also present and point to  "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/autocomplete/list" and "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/autocomplete/tags" respectively. The Autocomplete is rendering the data but when I select the Title from the Autocomplete, after selection the Id gets displayed in the field.I need to display the same selected text in the input field and need the Id to be stored as value in the property of the node. For eg : List is as below : id = 1, Title = Item 1id =2 , Title = Item 2id= 3 , Title = Item 3On selecting Item 1 in the Autocomplete List, the input field should display Item 1 itself and not "1" and value "1" should be stored in "name" property. Please let me know if there is a solution for same. Thanks,Anuradha

Here, we are trying to include a webcam through HTML attached below.  <div id="interactive" class="viewport scanner">      <video></video>      <canvas class="drawingBuffer"></canvas> </div> And we have added the below plugin for using this video tag.  <script src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/vue/2.5.16/vue.js"></script>  <script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/@carloscgo/vue-cc-quaggajs@2.0.0/dist/vue-quagga.js"></script>  <script src="https://cdn.rawgit.com/serratus/quaggaJS/0420d5e0/dist/quagga.min.js"></script> But in the component, in place of Webcam, there is a blank space displaying. There are no console errors relating to this. (Although the code works perfectly fine with Webcam turning on outside AEM when we tested separately in HTML template.) Is there any other way to trigger the Webcam on the component? Or

Hi all,    I am trying to create a icon file by the name of addcolor.png, is there a way for me to do so. I already have the picture I just don't know how I can add that picture to the file.    Thanks

I've been asked to modify the Link dialog in AEM's rich text editor to remove unneeded target options like "parent frame" and "top frame." I found this method of removing items, but it's giving me an "undefined" error when I try to use it.  I've searched for any information on possibly modifying this in the component dialog's .content.xml file, but there doesn't seem to be anything out there. In other components, we just have a simple URL input field along with a checkbox for "open in a new tab." I imagine I could write a plugin for the rich text editor that uses this approach, but I haven't done that before and I'm not sure where to start or how to make sure the given URL gets added to the text content properly. Does anyone out there have experience with this, or a place where I can look to get this information?

Hi! I need to place 3 tables with dynamic columns and repeating header in one PDF document in Adobe Livecycle Designer. addInstance for dynamic columns in initialize event of header row works fine for small document (2 or 3 pages per table) or when first table is big (100 pages for example) and other tables occupy one page. In other cases this solution doesnt work - dynamic columns instances are not created. Could you give any tips on this?

The Content Tree is useful in that you can see the structure of the page but it should also allow you to move items like most builders out there.
