Is there a way for me to augment the component edit configs printed to the HTML behind the scenes for the authoring UI.  The configs I'm talking about look like this in the Touch UI:<cq data-path="/content/mysite/mypage/jcr:content/main-par/mycomponent" data-config="{"path":"/content/mysite/mypage/jcr:content/main-par/mycomponent","slingPath":"/content/mysite/mypage/jcr:content/main-par/mycomponent.html","dialog":"/apps/mysite/components/content/mycomponent/cq:dialog","dialogLoadingMode":"auto","dialogLayout":"auto","dialogSrc":"/apps/mysite/components/content/mycomponent/_cq_dialog.html/content/mysite/mypage/jcr:content/main-par/mycomponent","dialogClassic":"/apps/mysite/components/content/mycomponent/dialog","type":"mysite/components/content/mycomponent","csp":"freeform|basepage|page/main-par|responsivegrid/mycomponent"}">and like this in the Classic UI:<script> CQ.WCM.edit({"path":"/content/mysite/mypage/jcr:content/main-par/mycomponent","dialog":"/apps/mysite/components

I'm trying to setup user synchronization in aem 6.3. I have one author and 2 publish instances.I followed this below document and set up the user synchronization between publishers. I have a self registration component. User submits the form data and I create the user and add to the group(which was already created using useradmin console) which has necessary permissions. I also activated the tunnel service to get to author(verified in author communities console).User Synchronization The problem is Users are syncing with the profile. But the user group doesn't gets updated. So in the other publisher user is not part of that group. Please let me know if I'm missing anything to configure, appreciate your help.

It's easy to enable client side logging at DEBUG or TRACE level for the Adobe Asset Link extension (panel) in Creative Cloud apps such as Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.  All you need to do is create a single line text file named "assetlink-override.json"The content of the file is just this line (for DEBUG level logging):     {  "LOG_LEVEL":"debug" }For TRACE level logging change the value to trace like this:     {  "LOG_LEVEL":"trace" }Place this file in the same location as your "assetlink-settings.json" file, as noted at [1]:MacOS: /users/username/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CEP/extensionsWindows: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CEP\extensionswhere username is your user login ID on your machine.Restart your Creative Cloud application (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and when the Asset Link extension is opened it will create a log file in the temporary directory with the appropriate logging level.  The temporary directory is at:MacOS: /tmpWindows: %TEMP% (which

In the attached picture, how can I add in my own custom predicate. That is the edition search form page btw.My use case is I'm trying to search for a property but need a 'LIKE' constraint in there. TheOOTB property predicate currently doesn't do that. Thanks you

Good day,I'm experiencing a "problem" with the AEM publisher, that I can't figure out. Every time the AEM 6.0 publisher is restarted, rep:policy nodes are created for all parsys nodes in the /content/* directory with properties "cq:cugEnabled" set to true and "cq:cugPrincipals" containing a string array of cug roles. The created rep:policy nodes grant administrators the right to everything and deny everyone else all rights. Can anyone tell me why these rep:policy nodes appear every time I restart my AEM 6.0 publisher instance? Thanks!

Hi guys, We are seeing an issue in our production environment where links are being incorrectly substituted. Our author (and our code) only select resources from the JCR to build links. AFAIK, the links should be relative but we are actually seeing host names in the links. For instance, if an author selects the resource /content/domain_com/en-us/locator, we expect to see the HTML:  <a class="block-level list-item-link" href="https://forums.adobe.com/content/domain_com/en-us/locator.html" title="Locations" target="_self">Locations</a>And in most environments, we do see that, but intermittently, we see this:  <a class="block-level list-item-link" href="https://test-host.domain.com:4503/content/domain_com/en-us/locator.html" title="Locations" target="_self">Locations</a>Ironically, we only see that in production. We do have some sling redirects set up, but I'm not sure if they are the cause. My understanding is that they will only change relative paths-not add on a h

We have been noticing that while using the translation framework, the addition of pages seems to sometimes work and sometimes fail. When creating a translation project and adding translation jobs to this project, it seems that adding the same page to multiple translation jobs triggers an error. The pages are not being added to the translation job. This can be reproduced on an out of the box instance.1. Create a translation project, using the microsoft translator as the cloudconfig for the project2. Create a translationjob and add the /content/geometrixx-outdoors/en/men/coats/edmonton-winter page to the job3. Select Create Language Copy in the popup window4. Start the translation job5. Create a second translationjob and again add the  /content/geometrixx-outdoors/en/men/coats/edmonton-winter page6. Select Create Language Copy in the popup window Anybody got an idea what might be going wrong here?We see the exact same behaviour on AEM 6.2 / AEM 6.2 +SP1 and AEM 6.3-BETA.On the AEM6.2 withou

Hi everyone,I've just activated the Adobe Html Library Manager minify in /system/console/configMgr, so now every ClientLibrary is called .min.css or .min.js.Here's my problem: the ClientLibraries are not updated until I edit the file, even with only one space, and in this way the ClientLibrary is builded again. Looking into other discussions, everyone suggests using /libs/granite/ui/content/dumplibs.rebuild.html, but using this tool, either invalidating and rebuilding all ClientLibraries, there are no changes in them.Unfortunately, I have a lot of ClientLibraries, so I can not take one for one and modify them to be re-created.Do you have any solution? Thanks in advance and have a nice day!Daniel

Hi All,We are trying to create a dynamic check box list in dialog which gets created on the fly based on response from server. I would be interested in having a dialog that contains x number of checkboxes where x is determined from server's response. For dropdowns in dialog we can have a datasource. Do we have the same thing for checkboxes.? I have tried to use Nested Check box list(NestedCheckboxList — Granite UI 1.0 documentation  )   which says that it can have a datasource but i am not able to configure it.Any pointers. Thanks,Mohit

In AEM 6.3, I had a live-copy page which was in sync with the blueprint. Somehow I accidentally deleted that live-copy page. How can I get the same live copy page back?

Hi All,I need to fetch the assets where "jcr:content/metadata/jcr:lastModified is greater than jcr:content/cq:lastReplicated".Is it possible to compare to two metadata values while querying. Please help me in writing the query for this scenario. So far I am aware is the daterange predicate which is querying a metadata date property against a specific date. Thanks,Selva

Every time I turn the profiler on it hangs. I can't get responses back from my searches. I set up visualVM as per the standard Oracle docs (Java VisualVM) and connected to my AEM (author) instance and turn profiling on but whenever I make a request, it simply hangs.Has any one used VisualVM profiling with AEM successfully? Is there anything special that I need to do?
