Is there documentation to run vanilla graphql queries using say ApolloClient? In my usecase, my content fragment schema has 350+ elements in it. UI Head is a reporting react app, allows users to choose columns and graphql query must load results. Page load pulls only 10 elements and allows users to dynamically add more elements. With this reporting page, persistentQueries wont help me. The query must fetch all 350 elements and then UI must filter interested elements. Looking for a way to construct queries at client using Apollo and run.  Documentation reads ability to run direct direct queries may get deprecated. Until we too migrate content fragments into better solutions, looking for running direct queries. Is there documentation how to implement?

Hi team, I need help for the redirect issue. All my contents are under /content/proj. The dispatcher is under /var/cache/content/proj, all rewrites are rewritten to /var/cache/content/proj. So an article in author /content/proj/news/xyz.html will be https://mysite.com/news/xyz.html. This works under the dispatcher rewrite rules.  I have a page /content/proj/about/about-me.html, it works fine. Now I set up its parent /content/proj/about, it has a redirect as a "granite/ui/components/coral/foundation/form/pathfield", the value is /content/proj/about/about-me.html, the name for the field is "cq:redirectTarget". On the author it just shows the title of the /content/proj/about/about-me.html, but the front-end just being redirected to https://mysite.com/content/proj/about/about-me.html, in turn, resulted a 404 page. Since this is a pathfield field, I don't want to just enter /about/about-me.html for the redirect, rather, pick a page from the AEM built-in popup/popdown path

Hi everyone,I created an AEM project using the following Maven command:mvn -B org.apache.maven.plugins:maven-archetype-plugin:3.2.1:generate -D archetypeGroupId=com.adobe.aem -D archetypeArtifactId=aem-project-archetype -D archetypeVersion=35 -D appTitle="WKND Sites Project" -D appId="wknd" -D groupId="com.adobe.aem.guides.wknd" -D aemVersion="6.5.0" -D includeDispatcherConfig=nThe project was successfully generated, and I built and deployed it to my local AEM instance (version 6.5.0). However, when I open the page in Edit Mode, I only see a blank page instead of the default components. Thanks.

Hi Team,In Page activation workflow, we have two steps to complete the operation.1 . Approve / Reject2. Endwhenever user approve the request, it is still asking to end the workflow to complete the request. We need to skip the END step, so I tried to remove but the workflow is running forever and the only option I get is to terminate the workflow manually in Instances.we tried without deleting the end step, by creating custom Process step to terminate the workflow without manual intervention but no luck.workflowSession.terminateWorkflow(workItem.getWorkflow()); Need your suggestions Thanks!

We have hundreds of content fragments based on templates (mainly the Simple Fragment).  They are referenced on hundreds of pages.  As we create new fragments, we are basing them on models.  However, is it necessary to covert all the existing fragments to use a content fragment model instead of Simple Fragment?

Hi, Current AEM version is - 6.5.12acs-aem-commons - 4.3.0 I configured the clientlib versioning as said in the acs commons site. But the problem is, I have created the node for rewriter under config folder but it doesnt appear in the sling rewriter (http://localhost:4502/system/console/status-slingrewriter), so it indicates configuration was not applied successfully. I even restarted the server but it didnt worked. Please anybody faced this issue. Is it the acs-aem-commons version compatibility issue ?

I have a requirement for the ACS AEM Commons implementation for AEM Inhouse Instance. I wanted to know the best practices on how it can be implemented and the impact it might have on the existing code/libraries that has been currently used. The goal is to have the most stable version of ACS AEM Commons installed with really less or no impact to the current code and library. If any one has recently implemented the ACS AEM Commons to the their instance, any recommendation or lookout on the issues would definitely help.

Hi,As per the translation cloud configuration I am not able to find an option to stop Inline Media Assets to be translated. In simpler words, if Content Fragment 2 is being referred in Content Fragment 1, and we try to submit translation for Content Fragment 1, then Content Fragment 2 should not be sent for translation. While exploring the available options, I can find options to include media assets or assets collection but can't find the solution to exclude them.  Thanks,Saurabh

How to deal with RepoInit failures in Cloud Service by Jörg Hoh Abstract Some years, even before AEM as a Cloud Services, the RepoInit language has been implemented as part of Sling (and AEM) to create repository structures directly on the startup of the JCR Repository. With it your application can rely that some well-defined structures are always available. In this blog post I want to walk you through a way how you can test repoinit statements locally and avoid pipeline failures because of it. Repoinit statements are deployed as part of OSGI configurations; and that means that during the development phase you can work in an almost interactive way with it. Also exceptions are not a problem; you can fix the statement and retry. The situation is much different when you already have repoinit statements deployed and you startup your AEM (to be exact: the Sling Repository service) again. Because in this case all repoinit statements are executed as part of the startup of the repository.

I am trying to add jcr:title property using SlingRepositoryInitializer (RepoInit) but getting below error.      #Root folder creation create path /content/dam/my-site(sling:OrderedFolder mixin rep:AccessControllable) create path /content/dam/my-site/jcr:content(nt:unstructured) # Set properties set properties on /content/dam/my-site/jcr:content set jcr:title{String} to Hello Test end     Error Log:-   13.03.2023 20:13:04.734 *ERROR* [CM Event Dispatcher (Fire ConfigurationEvent: pid=org.apache.sling.jcr.repoinit.RepositoryInitializer~my-site)] com.adobe.granite.repository.impl.SlingRepositoryManager Exception in a SlingRepositoryInitializer: RepositoryInitializerFactory, references=[], scripts=1 org.apache.sling.repoinit.parser.RepoInitParsingException: Encountered " <STRING> "Test "" at line 19, column 44._Was expecting:_    "\n" ..._     at org.apache.sling.repoinit.parser.impl.RepoInitParserService.parse(RepoInitParserSe

I am using Dispatcher 4.1.8 with IIS7.5. On interpreting the '<!--#include virtual=path'  SSI tag, getting an error 'Error Processing SSI file' on the page. But the same is working with Apache HTTP server.

We are looking for a way to group a number of image presets. I.e., we have 20 rendition presets, but I'd like only 5 of those available for the assets on a particular folder. Is this possible?

Hi everyone,We are working in a project with a React App and editing the content via Universal Editor. The content is being handled with content fragments. We have a content fragment that has 3 fields: depending on what you select in the first field we want to display the second field or the third field.Since each field in the universal editor looks like an iframe itself we cant figured out how to manage this case.Is there any way to achieve this? Thanks!Carlos.

AEMaaCS: Generating Access Tokens with Java Code and Service Accounts by Aanchal Sikka Overview "Service accounts and access tokens play vital roles in gaining access to restricted resources within AEM as a Cloud Service, particularly in situations where external applications communicate with AEM. Adobe offers a Node application for generating access tokens, and this blog will provide Java code snippets to demonstrate the process of generating access tokens."   Link to the blog: https://techrevel.blog/2023/09/06/access-restricted-resources-on-aemaacs-with-java-and-service-accounts/ Q&A Please use this thread to ask questions relating to this article

Hello,I am writing custom container component by extending AEM core container component. I am trying to use delegation pattern for updating a method. But delegation fails with Null Pointer Exception. So far, I have AEM container component with sling:resourceSuperType="core/wcm/components/container/v1/container" set and no other logic set from frontend side. I created an interface ContainerModel.java extending Container model from com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models to have a testMethod as addition method. I created ContainerModelImpl.class that implements ContainerModel. My @Model looks like below.   @Model( adaptables = SlingHttpServletRequest.class, adapters = { Container.class, ComponentExporter.class}, resourceType = ContainerModelImpl.RESOURCE_TYPE, defaultInjectionStrategy = DefaultInjectionStrategy.OPTIONAL )      The RESOURCE_TYPE is set as mysite/compon

We are facing with a rather unique issue where after translation is completed and content comes back to AEM, the Home Page gets updated, but the rest of content tree below Home Page is deleted. We are using smartling as a translation provider. Even though we don't submit the entire tree with in the translation job, the launch promoting the content from Smartling to AEM is assuming so and since the content is not available, it is wiping out the existing pages.  Upon log inspection, we see that the Translation Job Service is responsible for the pages to be deleted as there is an audit event recorded highlighting the page deleting Has any experienced this before?? Is there a launch promotion setting in AEM that can be overridden, where we don't delete the existing page if the launch which does the promotion does not have the content ?

Hi,I was wondering what is the purpose behind the Dispatcher log alert "URI not canonical". I see a lot of those log entries every day for different URLs, some of them might be better optimized for SEO, but some also look completely fine to me, like:- https://www.example.com/es/products- https://www.example.com/global/fi/privacy-centre/privacy-notices Any experience with this? Should it simply be ignored? Thanks,Daniel

Hi,We have a requirement to automate the aem api call. How to add the oAuth in our code as authentication to access the our cloud env programmatically and make api call?Thank You.

Hello Adobe Experience Manager Community,I’m currently working on implementing a custom cloud service in AEM using the official documentation.Progress so far:I have successfully set up and stored the cloud configuration on the Author instance.I can also configure my site with the cloud configuration on the Author instance without any issues.Problem:When I attempt to fetch the configuration on the Publish instance, it always returns null.Code:- HierarchyNodeInheritanceValueMap pageProperties1 = new HierarchyNodeInheritanceValueMap(resource); String[] services = pageProperties1.getInherited("cq:cloudserviceconfigs", new String[]{}); // Fetch the DataReader service final DataReader milestoneSchemaJSONReader = sling.getService(DataReader.class); // Retrieve the ResourceResolver ResourceResolver resolver = milestoneSchemaJSONReader.getResourceResolver(); // Adapt resolver to ConfigurationManager ConfigurationManager cfgMgr = resolver.adaptTo(ConfigurationManager.class); // Retrieve

Hi,I have a requirement to enable previewing of WebP images (*.webp) in AEM On-Premise, specifically in the author instance. Essentially, when an image is uploaded, you should be able to see its preview. Currently, we’re unable to preview WebP images even though the WebP MIME type has been added to the OSGi configuration.I understand that AEM On-Prem does not natively support WebP images, but my requirement is specifically to preview the image in the author instance. Please note that my use case applies only to AEM On-Premise and does not involve AEM as a Cloud Service or acquiring a Dynamic Media/Scene7 license for smart imaging capabilities. The use case is strictly to preview the image once uploaded to the DAM. If this works, we can configure ImageMagick to generate the necessary renditions in WebP format. I have already reviewed the following suggestions. https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager-assets/aem-6-5-assets-support-for-webp-images/m-p/5
