Adobe Experience Manager Sites

Hello,   Seeing a strange issue. I have browsed the forum but not seeing anyone else reporting this. Here is the scenario: We created a system user and mapped the user using "Apache Sling Service User Mapper Service" - NOT the amendment config. This was on SP12 and everything worked fine - multiple restarts wasn't an issue.   Once we upgraded to SP15, we decided to remove this user mapping and add it to the "Apache Sling Service User Mapper Service Amendment" instead. Everything worked fine at this point, but once the AEM has been restarted, seeing a 503 error when trying to access AEM, error in the logs is something users have reported before but not this particular usecase: "org.apache.sling.engine.impl.SlingRequestProcessorImpl ServletResolver service missing, cannot service requests , sending status 503"   Every answer on this forum points to issue with the repository or oak index, but a simple solution that worked for us was to uncheck "Require Validation" under "Ap

Hi,We have an RTE component. Our client has put links using the link plugin. But some times suddenly in some places the link disappears. I mean the anchor tag remains but the href property just disappears. Could anyone please help me out on this. Thanks,Tushar

Dear All, I have an Customized CF Model. While creating CF and updating the content it is updating all field rather than particular field.  For example I have a section called Include Posts and Collaboration Hub in the CF, as shown below.  Now if I am updating any content in the Content Fragment Model then all the section lastmodified date is updated with the same date , as shown below. Now I have updated include Posts and it is updated and stored in masternode, as shown below  But Along with My CollaborationSectionLabel@LastModified date also updated, as shown below  Basically whenever I am updating any Content in my CF then all last modified date is updating for all section. Is there a way to update last modified date only for section which is to be updated? 

I have a custom component that I am attempting to add a parsys for authors to drop other custom components into. I am running AEM 6.5.13. I have added a design dialog for use with editable templates. I have used the template editor to allow certain components to be dropped in the parsys. However, the parsys is not allowing any components to be added to it. Hi Team, I have requirement to integrate kafka with AEM. On my local, it is working fine.(Using SDK) but on AEM cloud, getting below error while pushing records to kafka topic:org.apache.kafka.common.errors.TimeoutException: Expiring 1 record(s) for my-topic-0:120000 ms has passed since batch creation.where:my-topic - kafka topic nameKafka is installed on Azure kubernetes.All requests are allowed right now.All advance networking configurations are fine.Installed kafka version and jars have same version(3.0.0)kafka cluster id is also printing in logs but issue while sending data to producer. Followed links for adv networking:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/security/configuring-advanced-networking.html#dedicated-egress-IP-address Please advise what is the issue here?

In my project, at localhost:4502/system/console/configMgr, I have an entry: Apache Sling Service User Mapper Service AmendmentThere, among the many Mappings that I have, is one that has this value: gs4tr-globallink-adaptors-aem.core:gl-service=gl-service I got a warning that it is deprecated and, instead, it should be: gs4tr-globallink-adaptors-aem.core:gl-service=[gl-service] I tried to create a config folder in the script:path: \ui.config\src\main\content\jcr_root\apps\project\osgiconfig\config\org.apache.sling.serviceusermapping.impl.ServiceUserMapperImpl.ammended~gl-service.cfg.jsoncode: {  "user.mapping": [    "gs4tr-globallink-adaptors-aem.core:gl-service=[gl-service]"  ]}Instead, it created a new variable:and the deprecated mapping remained there.Did someone had this issue or has any idea about a possible solution?

Hi All, We are seeing a series of 400 Bad Reqeusts while accessing the site in different environments(Dev, QA, PROD). I'm trying to increase the request header size using LimitRequestFieldSize 16384. Ours is a multi-tenant application and I added this config to a tenant-specific vhost file. It is not picking this configuration and I still see 400 even after making this change. I tried using LimitRequestLine 16384 but that didn't work as well. Hello all, I have two AEM 6.5 environments both with SP 6.5.20 installed. However, the file at /libs/cq/gui/components/authoring/editors/clientlibs/core/js/ui/ui.assetFinder.js differs between the environments and this is causing issues. I need to understand where this file came from so I can align the versions across the environments.  Many thanks!

Pretty much as the question states above. My understanding is when the pipeline executes you get essentially vanilla instances of AEM author and publisher to test against. I can think of a few ways I could probably inject a content package of a barebones site to test against, but what's the recommended approach? Can't see any mention of it in the docs. Cheers in advance!

I am using AEM as a Cloud Service and have created a component in which the data is rendered through the Content Fragments. To get the data stored in CFs, I have a GET request in my JS for the graphql persisted query. But the problem is the data is cached. No matter how many times I publish the CF, the data remains same and is updated after one day around or may take several days to be shown updated. This doc: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-learn/getting-started-with-aem-headless/graphql/advanced-tutorial/graphql-persisted-queries.html?lang=en states that GET request in persisted queries are cached. But I don't want my request to be cached. How can I do that?

Hi All   We're currently exploring the possibility of combining React components with AEM Traditional Components. Essentially, we would like most of the components to be authored and rendered using AEM Dialog and HTL, but there are certain components that we want to render using React components, similar to how it's done in a Single Page Application (SPA). Has anyone attempted this approach before? Is this achievable? If not, what are the potential challenges?   We have a significant number of dynamically rendered components, and our goal is to enhance performance by moving a considerable portion of the heavy lifting to the front-end modules.    TIA  Veena

Is there a way to move AEM structured tags in bulk? In the main tagging UI you can easily move one tag around the tag hieirarchy, one at a time, but I need to reorganise many at once.I am sure I once saw a different UI where tags could be managed in bulk but now I can't find it.  

I am using Graphql on AEM 6.5 to get the content-fragments. I have a  high number of Content Fragments that share the same model due to which the graphql list query has become really slow. How can I improve the performance of graphql query in AEM ? Note:- I am already using the persisted grahphql query and chaching it. But the initial load of the query results is really slow before it gets chached.

I have a JS code that calls a create language copy workflow at /etc/workflow/instances which then calls /etc/workflow/models/wcm-translation/prepare_translation_project and creates translation projects. I have a PDF in assets where the right METADATA > TITLE and METADATA > PDF TITLE fields have been compiled.I then published the PDF and verified its title on the browser tab.The problem is that title showing for the PDF is an old and incorrect one, instead of the one I declared on the metadata.What do I need to do in order for the right metadata to show - as the PDF title - when viewed in a browser?It seems that AEM CLOUD does note update/save the PDF Metadata, while it worked in the non-cloud version on AEM.Thanks

Hi, the community didn't have much topics related to career site designing with AEM and compatibility with SAP SuccessFactors, but here we go. I want to know if it would be possible to:use AEM as a content management system (CMS) to design as website, more particularly a career site.estabilish connection between AEM and SAP SuccessFactors through API connections (wondering if API connections are supported?).enable  Fast Application Process where candidates can upload their CV from the career site, without being redirected to SuccessFactors enviornment.
