Expanding Text Fields

I have made 3 master pages for my document,  Page 1 has the header,  page 2 does not, and page 3 is a narrative continuation page.  The Narrative is on the middle of Page 1, and I have an expanding text field.  Is there a way to have the expanding text field on page 1 continue onto page 3 without affecting the items after it on page 1 and page 2?
