Text Wrapping in PDF

I have a long simple table, but the text doesn't wrap correctly when generating a PDF. I've tried to adjust the relative widths, using <p> tags, nothing seems to fix the issue.

Hi,

Are you generating PDF using DITA-OT or native PDF?

Also please share a sample of your simple table where this issue can be seen. PDF screenshot will also help.

Thanks and Regards,

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm not able to share the simple table, but we used DITA-OT for PDF generation.

Hi Michelle

If you're using Apache FOP which is built into the DITA-OT, it isn't great at wrapping text in tables.  If you insert zero width spaces in your long terms, then FOP may be able to break those terms at an appropriate place.
