Table Pagination Issues with Straddled (Merged) Cells
My team experiencing an issue with table pagination in AEM Guides when tables contain vertically merged (straddled) cells.
When a table contains straddled cells that extend across multiple rows, AEM Guides appears to move the entire merged cell and its associated rows to the next page rather than allowing the table to break naturally across pages. This results in tables breaking partway down a page and leaving large amounts of unused white space.
We did not encounter this issue in FrameMaker, which handled page breaks within tables containing straddled cells without leaving these large gaps.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior in AEM Guides? Is there a setting or workaround that allows tables with vertically merged cells to split across pages similarly to how FrameMaker handles them?
Any guidance would be appreciated.
