Set an AEM Object to "Translate = No"

Is there a way to set any AEM Guides object to "translate = No" at the object/asset level?

We do have some master files that are graphics only and without any text to translate, they can get "stuck" in our TMS. In our previous system, we could set any topic or graphic not to translate within the repository. Is there the same option in AEM? I'm not seeing anything in the Assets view, in the Manage Translations tab, or in the written instructions.

Or is the only way to do this to set the translation status to DONE so that the file is never sent out?

Thanks.

Hi @sschnelbach

In AEM, you can define translation rules in translation configuration to exclude assets based on their path or property.

For content authored in Guides, you can add the attribute 'translation=no' at any element inside your content that does not require translation.
