Why is there no action item for "removing an attachment"

I have added the action item "add and attachment" in a form that also have several signatures. I assumed that the user could select the attachment in reader and remove by a simple right click. Unfortunately, once signatures are executed (that do not lock the form) the delete feature is no longer available.

Is there script for removing an attachment when attachments are added from a dynamic table?

This is the default behaivour of Signature field. Signature field is the last thing you should apply to your form. You may add attachment only as comment if it is allowed in the PDF, as explained here.

    Thank you. Understand comment tool can be used to attach or delete a file. Strange that there is an actual action to "attach a file" but not one to "remove the file attached".
