Unable to Create PDF from PowerPoint in AEM Forms via AdminUI

Hello everyone,

 

I am encountering an issue when trying to create a PDF from a PowerPoint file in AEM Forms via AdminUI Home > Services > PDFGenerator > Create PDF. While I am able to successfully convert Word documents into PDFs, the same does not work for PowerPoint files.

 

I have attached a screenshot of the error message and the relevant logs for further context.

Can anyone help me resolve this issue or provide guidance on how to fix it?

Hi @salahah,

Based on the screenshot it seems that the issue is related to the Service not able to launch Powerpoint. Can you please make sure that powerpoint is activated properly and also if all the popups are disabled for powerpoint.

I appreciate the quick reply! PowerPoint is activated properly Just to clarify, when you mention "deactivating popups," I'm not entirely sure what you mean. Are you referring to something like on options ->  ScreenTip style -> Don’t show ScreenTips ?

Yes, it's indeed due to the popup. When I try to open the PPT, there's a privacy popup. Once I closed it and made the request again, it worked.
