short description html tags

in AEM 6.5 whenever i place a short description on an adaptive form i get the html tags in there. I been looking for a setting in AEM but i do not know why this is happening. I only place text in there. Please help?

Strange. Can you check what is in the Source Edit?

 

 

 

Does this happen on other fields too?

 

Is there any script that may be manipulating the data?

 

As Vijay suggested, can you recreate the field?

it was fix when we upgraded to service pack 19. thanks all

Have you copied and pasted the content from somewhere inside the short description field? It seems like taking the rich text. Try to remove the whole text and then type a single word and check.

Take a fresh field and add a single word in short description to check.

    i removed the whole text and place only the word "test". i am using service pack 15 of AEM6.5
