Livecycle instanceManager

Hello all,

Hoping to get some guidance:

I have a table in Livecylce ES4 with lets say 4 fields (name, age, gender, date of birth). Just text fields on a blank subform. I have a button to addInstance thus repeating the 4 fields. The button also adds an instance to another table on another form that adds the same 4 fields. That second form is the designed form which I do not want the user to have the ability to enter info. The issue I have is:

I can create as many instances I want with different people's biodata on the first form but I want the info from the first table to be copied into the second table whether it be 1 instance or 10. I just don't know how to reference each field. I imagine the first table has something like name(0), name(1), name(2), etc. How do I reference these fields and put the info into the second table?

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you
