Hi.  When calling generatePDFOutput with special characters (in this case Québec) we are getting an error.  Where do I check the encoding within Adobe Forms?

Thanks!

Hello @plummer6699

Kindly follow the below steps for checking and setting the encoding within Adobe Forms:

1. Character Set Configuration: Adobe Forms allows you to specify the character set used to encode the output stream. This can be done through the administration console:

Navigate to Services > Output.
Under the Internationalization section, select the appropriate character set from the Character Set list. If you require a character set that isn't listed, you can select Custom and input the desired encoding value. It's important to ensure that the character set is a valid canonical name, such as UTF-8, ISO-8859-1, etc. The default value is typically ISO-8859-1.
Save the changes to apply the new character set setting.

2. Locale Settings: Ensure that the locale used to render the forms is set correctly. The locale determines how data is displayed in fields and can affect how special characters are handled:

Navigate to Services > Forms.
Under Internationalization, select the appropriate locale from the Language list. This setting is crucial for displaying data correctly in the forms.
Save the changes.
