Adaptive Form Components usage in AEM 6.5

Hi Team,

 

Need a clarification on the usage of Adaptive Form Components on AEM 6.5 - Both OOTB Adaptive Foundational Form Components & Adaptive Core Form Components. Do we need Forms add on as a mandatory prerequisite to use these components. Are the Latest adaptive core components are available only with AEMAACS as per the below reference,

Hi @hemalatha ,

Forms add on is a mandatory prerequisite for Adaptive Forms components (both Foundation and Core components). All Adaptive Forms core components are available on Cloud and 6.5 release. Though there may be a small gap in the timelines for delivery - with new core components/enhancements available on Cloud service first.

If you are developing new forms - it is recommended to use core components based Adaptive Forms.
