websites styles and view got disturbed after extending search results renderer

Hi,

I am trying to implement extending search results renderer of asset share commons. I created list and card component in my maven project by referring https://opensource.adobe.com/asset-share-commons/pages/development/1-x/guide/#extend-theme-styles But when I author the search results by selecting custom card and custom list renderer the page got disturbed its view and styles, so that I removed the card and list custom components and chosen the default card and list renderers eventhough the website isnt displaying as earlier can anyone help me on this.
