Question for CPG / Retail customers using AEM Assets

What metadata field are you using to capture SKU numbers in AEM? We've mapped an xmp field using the 'headline' field to show as sku within AEM but now unable to use same fields for Content Hub configuration.

hi @adavalos ,

AFAIK there is no default OOTB property specifically for SKUs. You will have to decide whether to create a new field for SKUs or update the Content Hub mapping.
The headline field is part of the default XMP namespace and is typically used for titles or descriptions in different systems.

Example. Create a new metadata property with namespace example ab:sku where ab is custom name space. Update the same in metadata schema.

Note: It is recommended to always use a namespace for new metadata properties to avoid such conflicts
