Not being able to access webp/gif images

Hello!

Im facing a issue with gif/webp images, Im using the direct path to the file "/content/dam/path-to-file/example.gif" and im getting a 404 response when the browser tries to access the resource, this only happens with .gif/.webp files.

It there any additional configuration that i need to do into assets to access this kind of images?

Im using AEM 6.5

Thanks in advance!!!

@diegool1 can you elaborate your issue?

  1. Check whether asset is published and if you are able to access the asset in publisher.
  2. Check whether you are able to access the asset with IP address, if it is working fine then check with dispatcher configs/rules.
  3. Verify the browser console errors and dispatcher logs.

Let me know how it goes, thank you!!
