Issues publishing updated PDF on existing URL

Hello, our team publish PDFs with a URL and each time they don't update in production. It is not related to the Akamai cache as we have cleared that. Just seems to be an issue with PDF files. Checking the status of the last one, it still nots pending, although author says they have followed the right steps. Anyone else experience this? Using 6.5 on prem. Could it be that the author is not following the right process?

Can you try using publish IP port/ dispatcher URL is new pdf is reflecting ?

If not , Check if publish was complete and replication is not stuck somewhere. Check dates on publish for pdf asset to confirm , the author will show published as soon as you publish it although actual publishing may not be complete and assets may be in replication queue.

    Thank you for the tip. We managed to publish, although always seem to be an issue. Looking into whether it is a process issue with the author or a bug.
