Hi All,I have 10000 plus assets under "/content/dam/xxx", I want to apply a tag to all these assets.Can anyone tell me the procedure?  

Hello Team, Asset download count is not reflecting in AEM Asset File Type Report (OOTB report functionality) in AEMasCS and it is working fine for 6.5I have updated the Event Recorder Configuration also and have the necessary privilege's . Still, frequency is 0 for all the assets. Any leads will be appreciated.

Hello Team,We are using AEM 6.5 Server (Not on Cloud). For AEM Author Server Users Authentication, we use SAML. On AEM Author Server, we got a requirement to connect to external application API. We will host our API and External Server (not AEM Server and not in same Domain) will provide the JSON content. We will consume the JSON content from the API and put in our JCR repository and dynamically replicate/publish the content.Could you please provide the approach and steps for Authentication of API? Do we need Authorization (using SAML SSO) to external Server as well and use JWT token on the top of it for Authentication? Could you please provide example code (if possible JAVA) as well? Thanks.

Hi dear Community,i am facing a challenge here that gives me the vibe of,"Í can't be the only person to have this problem.Other people probably had the same issue and there is already a solution!No need to reinvent the wheel here."So i come to you, asking humbly for your wisdom.The AEM Assets (AEMaaCS i might add) already has OOTB some icons based on metadata.For example - a small red flag for assets that are expired.A green thumbs up icon for assets that have the property ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:status = approvedA red thumbs down icon for assets that have the property ./jcr:content/metadata/dam:status = rejectedA grey clock icon for assets that have the property./jcr:content/metadata/dam:status = Changes Requestedand so on... I would like to do something similar for assets that have the property ./jcr:content/metadata/xmpRights:WebStatementTo make it more visible which pictures and documents have to be handled with a extra bit of precaution.I have read

If we have new InDesign files being uploaded to the DAM does the DAM do any relationship association with the linked assets automatically or does that have to be done manually? Example: I work on a file for a brochure. I link to assets in the DAM through the InDesign plugin but there are 2 more images I purchase form Getty as well for the brochure. I package that file and upload the package to the DAM. When I upload it the DAM knows 2 of those assets already exist in the DAM because I linked to them from the file through the integration but does the DAM have the ability to add the 2 new Getty images to the DAM and create the relationship to the files in InDesign so when it is checked out next it is not trying to link from the desktop anymore? Or when I check out the file do I now have to relink them to the assets in the DAM?

Hi All,We are trying to secure some of our assets on the publisher behind SSO [with permission based caching]. We have implemented auth checker module on the dispatcher and have introduced a SAML config to check for SSO login for this particular path. Is it possible for a user to access such an asset after successful saml without the user existing on AEM/ without auto creating users through createUser=B"false" and addGroupMemberships=B"false"Is there a limit on number of users on publishers?

There is a need to kill a workflow.There are 1000's of dam update workflow in the instances tab and hence cannot locate this custom workflow from workflow instance tab and terminate it.I ran a query as below to locate the workflow /var path. This is actually in production , we need to do this. path=/var/workflow/instancestype=cq:Workflow1_property=status1_property.value=RUNNING2_property=modelId2_property.value=/var/workflow/models/dam/test-staging-assetsp.limit=-1 So, can someone help me how I can terminate this workflow using this /var path?I tried using the workflow remover from ACS commons, but it is not working and still I can see this workflow is active.Do we have any JMX console, where it is possible to give the /var path t terminate a workflow? @arunpatidar

Hi there, I'm using the AEM Assets module in an Workfront Fusion scenario and I am trying to connect to an AEM Cloud instance. Hello -- We are attempting to configure AEM Assets for our internal light users in AEMaaCS. These users will have surfing/read-only access to all assets in the DAM. Is there a way to limit the options these users have available to select from on screen? We don't want them to go into any other areas of AEM, such as AEM Guides (on the home screen) or any other folder but Files or Collections on the Assets home screen. We also do not want them to be able to see all the options on the Assets menu bar. We only want them to be able to see the options highlighted in the red box for each of the screens. I have configured a user group for these users and set up ACEs. Any help is appreciated. AEM home screen:Assets home screen:Assets menu bar:

I am trying to run the following code to create content fragments programmatically. Hey guys,Environment - AEM as Cloud Service Do you know of any OSGI service or interface which i can use to hook up a service to run a few validations on an asset before the asset compute services kick-in to process the asset ?To be more specific, I'm looking at building a few validation rules like asset should follow a particular naming convention assets can only be uploaded to their designated paths etc I want to restrict the asset from being processed if it does not pass any of the validation rules. Where can i write this logic ?  I'm aware of post-processing logic but I'm looking for a pre-processing one ? Any leads or ideas to implement this will be highly appreciated. TIA.

How can I clear all INBOX NOTIFICATIONS (<localhost>:<port>/aem/inbox) at once. For suppose if I have some 10,000 inbox notifications, Do I need to clear all of them manually or is there any way to clear all of them at once?

Hello everyone,   I'm having trouble connecting Adobe Experience Manager with Salesforce for a project I'm working on. I'm specifically attempting to determine how to: Sync the two systems' data (e.g. customer information) Utilize Adobe Experience Manager to collect data that Salesforce may use for lead scoring and other marketing automation tasks Personalize content in Adobe Experience Manager using Salesforce data I've studied the material and conducted some research, but I still can't seem to find a solution that fits my particular use case. Has this kind of integration been carried before before? When we send files from AEM Assets to Phrase TMS via translation connector, the translation projects that we created within AEM shows the each file with complete path along with folder structure and everything. but in TMS, it just shows the filename only. is there a way we can send the complete path to TMS ( it would be helpful to display the breadcrumb path for them to figure out the file belong where).
