Dropdown Field - Content Hub Import Configuration

Hello,

I’m trying to add a new field into the “Add Assets” functionality on Content Hub. It’s a field added to a custom form in Workfront which has been mapped to AEM Assets.

Within “Import” in the Configurations area I have selected “dropdown”, but there is nowhere for me to enter the options for users to select from. I’ve tested the form after adding the field, hoping that the options may appear through the AEM / Workfront mapping, but this is not the case.

I saw that the data entered on the custom form in Workfront was not on a test file in AEM Assets, but found the option to add dropdown options by uploading a csv file, so did this in AEM Assets. However it seems the data still doesn’t come through from Workfront - as it’s a dropdown field it seems the value must be input within AEM Assets.

I’ve changed the field type from dropdown to single line text in AEM Assets. The correct metadata is now pulling through from Workfront - and is present in Content Hub. Now, I have one test asset in Content Hub with a value in the new field. This has resulted in the new field being available as a filter option, and also now gives this one value as an option in the dropdown field on the “Add Assets” upload form.

Is there any other way to get options into a dropdown field on the import form in Content Hub - without needing there to be an asset present with the option on the metadata? This new field I’m working with has 94 dropdown options so ideally I don’t want to have to import 94 test assets!

Thank you

Lana
