Does Adobe Asset Link work with AEM Essentials or only Enterprise?

Hello Community. In researching migrating files from other Adobe programs to AEM Essentials I learned of Adobe Asset Link. It appears from reading about the product that it's an add-on only for AEM Enterprise version not Essentials DAM. Is this correct?

@3066320 : Other than Enterprise DAM assets , you have Assets Essentials offering which is light weight version of DAM and there is media library which comes with AEM Sites.

Assets Essentials: Adobe Asset Link in-app panel lets creative professionals connect to Assets Essentials repository from within the supported Adobe Creative Cloud desktop apps.

Media library - DAM with AEM Sites license doesn't allow you for CC integration.

Hi @cynthiaco ,

Yes, you read it correct that Asset Link functionality is not supported with media library version of AEM Assets.

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/assets/admin/medialibrary#:~:text=You%20cannot%20use%20smart%20tags%2C%20Asset%20link%2C

It is available in enterprise version only.

Thanks,

Nikita Garg
