Clientlibs Overlay in 6.5 and proxy

Hello,

 

Managed to overlay the code from libs /libs/wcm/msm/content/touch-ui/authoring/commons/js/msmTouchUICommons.js to /apps/wcm/msm/content/touch-ui/authoring/commons/js/msmTouchUICommons.js.
I have provided allowproxy at the clientlib folder "commons" and have categories set same as in libs. 

I have no js.txt here under apps structure  to avoid the js load twice from etc and libs

 

on the network tab, i see that the custom code comes up in libs instead of etc.clientlibs with my changes .Is there something that i am missing?

    Hello,

     

    This does not help answer my question and hence raising it again

     

    Overlaying with same structure under apps and giving a proxy property loads the JS under libs or under etc.clientlibs?  What i see is that the overridden changes under apps is loaded via etc.clientlibs( due to proxy property)
